Ds2 was a bit of a nightmare baby, very clingy, very whingy, wouldn't feed, wouldn't take a dummy, wouldn't sleep!!! I Didn't really think too much about a third baby for a little while as he was such hard work!!

Both my boys were like that, girls were fantastic. But boy what a turn around when they get older. DD 8 can be a nightmare and as I have older girls I know whats gonna happen at around 13. :eek:Too many children, too little time!!!0 -

oh right!! I know my friends little girl wasn't great as a baby, but once she hit 2-3 she was a right madame!!! and still is at the age of 9...
Ds1 has always been great and still is, ds2 is now great, they are both right little characters and are also both computer and games console obsessed. I blame dh for that as he is a bit of a games freak too.

Lyme Regis, walking distance which is great.

Be warned girlies...personal question coming up...
As you ladies progress in your pregnancy and you become larger (25 weeks with twins, am getting quite large!) what positions are you finding most comfortable when you and your partner are getting "jiggy"?Proud mother of twin boys - double the trouble and twice the pleasure! :T0 -
thanks glam (is that an important footie match - I have no idea!???)
I'm hopeful for tonight for starting labour. Well, you can't forgive me for tryingI've told hubby that it was his prostaglandins that got us into this so they can jolly well help us out of it
So also going to try SB's advice about teh best knickers thing. I bought myself a gorgeous hotmilk nursing set and the knickers cost a fortune so going to wear them tonight
This must be the hard bit because, Like MFD and AF, I'm having a short, quick and painless labour :rotfl: In fact, I don't care anymore - it can take four days if it needs to......
I'm 28 and Hubby is 30, which I think is a good age for us, but our parents are in their mid-late 50's which I still think of as relatively young as grandparents - but perhaps that's because my granny is 93, so I've always thought of grannies as really old people :O :rotfl:
actually - can anyone tell me what a contraction feels like (I've not even had BH!)
thanksxr.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
My DS was the model baby, he was wonderful - slept, ate, slept, ate etc etc! I wondered what all the fuss was about!
Then DD arrived - an absolute horror  - ate, cried, ate, cried, slept occasionally! It was like torture! Then she was ok as a toddler, but turned into an absolute madam at 6 til almost 8! She's ok again now at 8, and a lovely little girl most of the time - which I hope is going to last. But I am dreading the teenage years - i hope she's not as horrible as I was!
I'm hoping its not a boy/girl thing - and its just a 'her' thing - and this new little girl will be more like her brother. (Please!!):beer:0 -
Icklebeans....
Spoons or me on top facing away.....I think dh prefers it when he can't see my big bump!!!!
That's about it really i'm 34+5 and it has been this way for the last 6-7wks....

I'm only 20 weeks but my belly is starting to get in the way. I'm finding him on top still ok but he has to support himself higher with straight arms if you know what I mean. Me on top is compfortable too but my belly rub on his and that don't make me feel very sexi. My pregnancy book from the hospital says woman on top or lying side by side will be most comfortable.DMP Mutual Support Thread Member No 19017/05/08 - Total on DMP: £10025.7007/05/14 - Total on DMP: £1666.20 DFD: July 2017!!Baby Tomos born 5th June 2009 - 6lb 5oz :jWeight Loss Target - to lose 60.8lb by NYE 2015 - 37.6lb TO GO0

r.mac - put it this way if my waters broke or I had contractions during this game I'd be told to keep my legs crossed until it finished. In fact maybe any big footy game. :rotfl:A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
Where does the time go? :think:0
