    When timing contractions do you time from the start of one to the start of another or from the end of one to the start of another :confused:

    LOL Sami - Not sure I intend to be sat in front of the computer. Not really that bothered about timing them either (our hospital doesn't work like that apparently, you go in when you are ready to :confused: ).

    It's just something that we didn't get taught in parentcraft and I am interested to know.

    Just being nosey because they wouldn't tell us what we were having and considering whether to have a private scan or not...

    I work in Watford but live in Harrow. I was given the choice of watford and was tempted as its near work but I also wanted to know the sex so went with Northwick park instead. I was a little worried about Northwick park because of all the bad press they had but they completely refurbished last year and they have been fantastic so far.

    When my waters went I got a few pains and called hosp they wanted to know how often and for how long so I think its worth getting hubby to write a start and finish time for each one :confused:

    Apparently the hospital here won't ask - they don't work like that (or so they tell me!!)

    Doesn't really matter, I am only going to have a little bit of pain, waters break (as I vault into the birthing pool) push, push, here's my beautiful little Bubba who will sleep all the time, feed perfectly and only poo when visitors are around to change him ;) :rotfl:
