I have set myself an ebay challenge to make £150.00 in order to pay for the new buggy. Wish me luck. I have listed the first few items and this way I will also declutter the house before baby comes along.0

Thanks Tinkerbell. I tested +ive Dec 3rd but must have been a way gone by then and then had to wait a few weeks for midwife to come. NHS for you. I'm at Llandough. Haven't decided where to have the baby yet but OH likes Llandough compared to the Heath.
It turns out I'm only gonna have one scan now as I'm so far along. Next appointment isn't until June which is ages away. Scary how quick it's going. Glad everythings Ok after the bleeding I get occassionally.
How r u? Are you showing yet? I can't wait to start feeling it?
x
No I don't blame you at all about not going to the heath, we've chosen Royal Glam even though we're out of area. It's a shame though you only get the one scan, but at least your date is closer that you thought.
I'm ok not showing yet but I'm putting that down to me being on the large size anywayHow about you?
You laugh because I'm different - I laugh because you're all the same0 -
Our local paper (east end life) is offering free tickets to the first out of a hat. Maybe try googling their website and see if the offer is on line too?

r.mac - put it this way if my waters broke or I had contractions during this game I'd be told to keep my legs crossed until it finished. In fact maybe any big footy game. :rotfl:
LOL!! With my first DH was watching some Man U 'important' game that evening. I was sat on the sofa and got up to make a coffee - at which point my waters broke with a gush (think of how it gets portrayed on tv) - a big splosh sound and a large puddle on the floor (tiles, thankfully) - none of this leaking lark! He asked me what that was, I told him, and he asked if we needed to do anything re hospital - to which I said no, wait for contractions. he therefore went back to the footy game - I went upstairs, got changed and padded up, came downstairs, mopped the floor and then went and made coffee  (and contractions started 5 mins later, coming every 5 mins straight off and rapidly reducing to every 2 mins!) He watched all of the footy game in peace, I went and had a bath and we went to hosp at 11.30 ish that night.
With number 2 he tried to watch another 'important' game on the tv in the delivery room - but there was no reception for the channel he wanted - you could get sound, but only 'snow' on the screen.
I think number 3 managed to miss any sport. BUT apparently there's some sort of championship (or similar) going on around the time this one's due!

I've just looked up the paper, as I still have it, and they have 5 pairs of tickets to give away. You need to send in a postcard saying where the show is taking place (excel, London) to Baby Show?Kempton Park competition, East End Life, Town Hall, Mulberry Place, 5 Clove Crescent, Poplar E14 2BG. Helpfully they have said the closing date is "Friday February"so I would try and get your application in my this Friday to be on the safe side!
