Found the leaflet about the classes now. They are to "Learn about labour, pain relief and the birth of your baby" held in the Parentcraft Room. Four hours, with a tour at the end "if desired"!! I was wrong - you can go from 32 weeks. Maybe the midwife told me to phone up at 24 weeks to make sure I get a place.
There are seperate Breastfeeding Workshops for three hours one Saturday per month. The Parentcraft classes are on all the Saturdays that the BF Workshops aren't on.. if that makes sense! I'd best book early with OH working every other weekend.
Sami, it also mentions practically bringing a picnic too - "you may wish to bring snacks/sandwiches wth you to eat during the sessions"
So they cover labour, pain, delivery and breastfeeding.. What about bathing and changing for the clueless?! Do we rely on the green/purple book for that? (I think I've seen pictures of it somewhere..)0 -

Thankyou!Need to pass that on to my mum too. She's been asking as she's never used disposables. I think they were the "new" thing when I was a baby and I had terry nappies (the big square folded up type) so that's what my sister got too!

Elle I was in terry squares too
My mum said she only used disposables for me they weren't really around for my (older) sis and they were expensive so she only used them if we were out and about never at home.
