That does seem a bit strange doesn't it? I use a very similar recipe, so if you aren't sure about this particular one I'd substitute half a cup of oil for half a cup of the water.0 -
Which of these chocolates do you prefer?
For my new vegan handmade chocolate business I need to decide on a base chocolate for the milky style chocolates, truffles, barks and bars. I really want to support a vegan company & use fairtrade and organic, which two of these are. If you have tried them, please let me know which you prefer.
Moo free 'milk' chocolate
Organica vegan diets premium chocolate couverture bar
Plamil dairy free alternative to milk chocolate (soya based)
Organic Plamil diary free alternative to milk chocolate (rice based)
Also which white chocolate do you prefer. Organica or plamil?
Also any preferences on sugar free chocolate and carob chocolate substitute would be great.
Thanks in advance.
This will help me decide on which base chocolate to use. May just give customer a choice of either if I can't decide though! Thanks in advance. I will also be looking for taste testers from August. Please pm me as you will need to like my fb page for this offer!!0 -
Hi Murrell: I have never been so keen on any Plamil goods
I love Moo-Free chocolate as do my kids.
I adore Organica's white bar. More than many many things. I hide it....
Will PM you for sureLove and compassion to all x0 -
Me neither, they're horrid!
I haven't tried moo-free or organica yet - cost of postage puts me off ordering.
You can get it on amazon with Free delivery

Also Goodness direct if you spend more than £35 its free postage

As I have dificulty sourcing Vegan stuff locally (As i live in the back end of beyond) I normally do orders over £35 with Goodness direct.'The More I know about people the Better I like my Dog'

Thanks for your replies. I did mini surveys in all the vegetarian and vegan groups I belong to. Moo free won. So this is the base milky style chocolate I will use for my Silver Box Foods business. If any of you want to help me choose which flavours to market first, please head over to the facebook page and vote for your top 3. Anyone that takes part in the survey will go into a draw to become a taste tester for your chosen flavour. Please let me know in the comments which flavour you would like to taste test if you get chosen.
I plan to use plamil for the sugar free as there really isn't a choice and organica for the white choice. Dark chocolate brand to be decided.
Thanks in advance Sandra0 -
Has anyone had any experience making their own hot dogs? I've seen a few things online using seitan but have yet to try myself and just stock up on Linda Macs when they are one pound a pack0

Looks fantastic, and exactly the kind of thing I was after. I knew it would have to be gluten/seitan-y0 -
I don't know if you're interested, but if anyone misses lemon meringue pie (like I do!) here's a link to one, which looks AMAZING!!!
