Evening everyone!
I bought a half price shoulder of pork in sainsburys yesterday and because i wan to use it in casseroles I cut it up and managed to get two very generous portions of pork chunks bagged up for the freezer, and then with all the rind and little pork/fat pieces i made pork scratchings which my son loved!
I've also just been baking bread, I always make it by hand, but i used some different quantities in this batch and my goodness i have'nt half got some funny shaped bread coming out of the oven!Grocery Challenge for October: £135/£200

Evening all
Welcome to the newbies, congrats to bargainbird.
Hubby went to work today, but only half a day as the other roofer had to leave at 2, so they are going in tomorrow for another half a day. I need to find another £8.78 for his fare as he's still not been paid up to date & is owed at least 4 days money. The other 2 jobs have both been cancelled so we'll just have to wait & see what happens next. I get paid & midnight tonight so I'm doing a meal plan & this month's budget tonight. Usually once all my DD's come out & I've done the shopping there is about £40 left in the account for the month, still it could be worse, it could be minus £40.
Have a good evening everyone.
Hugs Hester
