A lot of people on O2/Be have been complaining of congestion / speed issues! BE get priority over O2 users on LLU.

If you're on sky it should be easy to switch over to "UK Online" it's on the same network and has great service (but not cheep!) I'm on UK Online and love it! Great service and support.

    Check out http://forums.thinkbroadband.com/
It's got most ISPs listed and you can see what issues /complaints the ISP customers have! (Also Support workers from ISPs often reply in this forum.) It's a good stop before changing.

Thanks, it looks like i can get ukonline but are they ADSL2 ? but tbh i don't understand what the difference is anyway, plus they charge £49.99 for the router, does this mean i change settings i.e port forwarding as i do alot of gaming on ps3.

Can anyone tell me if these results on speedtest.com are good or not at the moment im with sky Down load= 3642 kb/s upload= 291 thanks.

The results from speed testers are unreliable. You should obtain your router statistics.

However assuming you are on Sky Mid then you are running at around half the rate thats possible. With a reasonable line you would expect around 6-7mbps.

    Log into your router
    http://routerlogin.com/

User admin, password sky and look for display router statistics
That gum you like is coming back in style.

Yes they are - ADSL2/2+ is usually a LLU service which can offer faster speeds than ADSL (though it also depends how far you live from the exchange)
