Why did you go to the expense of buying a freesat box ( unless you went for the PVR or HD version), you can get the same channels via your Sky box when your subscription lapses?

i'm still with Sky myself, but when I had a look round 02 seemed to be a good option, I believe thy use UK call centres.
You could have a look at https://www.o2user.co.uk, run by the folks who run https://www.skyuser.co.uk

The reason im moving from sky is because i bought i Humax freesat box and i want to cancel sky, therefore i have to cancel my b,band and skytalk aswell according to sky.
What i meant by BE being expensive is compared to talktalk, aol, sky, tiscali etc..but as long as i get quality service i don't mind i suppose, so its looking like it will be BETHERE , Does anyone know if there call centres are foriegn ?
Be have call centres in bulgaria
O2 have them in the uk

They both use the same network for their internet service

No i was only offered my mac by post.I did enquire about this i rang ofcom they told me it doesn't have to be by email or text.Anyway with regards to BE i found out today that if you order by phone you don't pay the connection charge of £24.
  • BT, no question.

We have tried other providers in our area and had nothing but grief. Even the best alternates when stuff did go wrong simply blame the BT exchange. Then BT in turn blame them and you find yourself stuck in the middle of two technical depts arguing. Although you pay more for BT, the service is excellent and we have had no techincal problems at all in over a year of almost nons-top useage. If we do, at least they cannot blame anyone else as the line and exchange are theirs!:p Cheapest isn't always best and I find you get what you pay for. If you do decide another provider really avoid Tiscali at all costs.....................
