I want to use my clubcard vouchers to buy some car hire for my daughter.
I know they don't allow this for hotels etc.

Does anyone know whether it can work for car hire?

A question that is more for those not in the Clubcard Christmas Club.

Have been in the Christmas Club this year as getting a £6 bonus for a £100 top up seemed worthwhile. However the vouchers etc. that have arrived with the quarterly statements don't seem as good as last year when we received £5 off a £50 shop more than once. This year it's just been 50p off items or 25 bonus points.

So, the question is have those not in the Christmas Club had £5 off vouchers in the statements this year? If so the Christmas Club seems of limited value, other than saving the vouchers for you.

    Thanks.
  • Hi all,

Just a quick question about my clubcard vouchers I have amassed. Are you able to use clubcard vouchers to buy alcohol? I have about £80 worth and am having a party soon... Also, are there any limits to the amount of vouchers you can use, or could I spend say the full £80 on alcohol? Also, is it possible to use the vouchers as payment at the self service checkout?

I tried finding answers from the Clubcard website but had no luck!

    Thanks in advance,

    Jamie

Yes you can use your vouchers on anything in store. You can use the full value of your vouchers on alcohol if you want.

    Just to make everyone aware:

The cut off date of 23rd October doesn't just include the points, it also includes your address details. That is - what address Tesco have as at that date, is where the vouchers will be sent.
So, if you have moved it's important enough at any time to let them know (best to ring), but even more so with Christmas club vouchers, or wanting to convert to 4x for reward - reissues won't be in time for that!
I reiterate - you have four days to contact Clubcard to change your details, if you have moved.
Moreover, you have three days to convert any lost vouchers back to points, to ensure you have them in the Nov mailing.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard

I think you might be able to... we ordered a Official Nintendo Magazine subscription with CC vouchers earlier this year, and in exchange for the vouchers we were sent an order form to send to the magazine subscription company, so I suppose you could choose to delay sending this off - but I'm not sure if the 6 month validity thing still works for these so it's best to check.
  • Anyone with any advice I have been chasing points for direct orders since end of aug + spoke to clubcard no, direct after sales got the name of a customer services manager I spoke to on 15/10 who guaranted these points will be added by the next statement I check and record all balances each day still haven't been added for today now that means we have only tomorrow and sat if they are not on there by then they will not be made up for this quarter. These points equate to £80 or £320 in deals at the old rate or if not added £80 £240 at the new rate from 6th Dec. Does anyone know of a department or number I can use to sort this out as I seem to have tried all the others with little joy so far. Even more annoingly these promos never said these points would not be added straight away or that we would have to wait so spent alot of time chasing and getting no answers from clubcard. A month ago they were supposed to contact me in 48hrs still haven't heard anything back.

  • Hi

may be a stupid question but I am interested in the clubcard bella italia vouchers currently 10 pounds points to 40 pounds bella vouchers.

When they send them out are they in 10s 20s or just one voucher for 40 pounds as I see in the terms that bella doesnt give change and there are only 2 of us so could eek 2 nights out out of the 40 pounds

Hope that makes sense :) Thanks
