My friend wants to buy my clubcard vouchers off me to use for airmiles. (Shes also buying vouchers off quite a few others) I said I wasn't sure if that would work but I gave her the smallest voucher I had to try and shes saying it works? I don't have much understanding of airmiles myself so wondered if anyone can confirm that they will all work? It's just that I have about £70 in vouchers & she won't book the holiday for another few months and I don't wan't her to have trouble booking the holiday when the time comes. Any thoughts?
Thanks
I can't see how would it work? Your tesco reward vouchers are registered to your name so when exchanging for airmiles it would automaticaly create you a new Airmiles account (or credit an old one if you have one).
That is a new one on me...0 -
Hi all,
I have a tesco clubcard and shop there approx twice a month. How often should I be getting a clubcard statement and vouchers? Last time I received anything was probably May or June time.
Thanks.
The next voucher mailing will be in early November, however the last one was in August. Did you get that one, you only mentioned May/June? Have you moved address? Seems worth a call to Clubcard to see what happened to the Aug mailing - ring this week, and the voucher value in points from any you don't have can be added to your current total before the 23rd cut-off date. So you'll get it all in November.I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard0 -
Just recieved a letter from Tesco to tell me about changes to Clubcard.
They claim that to be able to keep double points going they have to do the following:
From 1 Nov: 1 point awarded for every £2 fuel, 2 points if you use their credit card.
From 6 Dec: ALL current rewards which have a 4x rate will change to 3x rate
Also some new/additional terms and conditions:
You may collect up to 30,000 points in each statement period.
Where you have more than one Clubcard account we may merge them into one.
Accounts that have not been registered or have not been used for two years may be closed.
To help us reduce fraudulent behaviour, we may cancel Clubcard vouchers for any suspected breach of the scheme.
Xmas Saver/ Next Statement will be sent around 19 Nov giving you about two weeks of the 4x exchange rate.0 -
Thanks Empdal.
Not so sure about the fuel, Tesco are dearer than Sainsburys here and we always seem to notice that the price creeps up a bit before their 5p promotions (which they have on now), a member of their staff in their petrol station did admit that this happens.0 -

No, it doesn't make much sense to me either but she's insisting it worked. Think I'll just keep the rest of the vouchers to avoid any hassle. Thanks for your help0 -

No worries I have not really tried in the past to raise the points this whole change has gotten me interested. We did have a weekend away at a 5* hotel ast year on them which was nice.
I will fill the car up this week.
I am also thinking of getting the credit card too. I didnt know they did goldsmiths and I would like an omega watch from there which even at 3x the points it would be worth it after a couple of years saving.
Can I add the ones from my mum and dads to my statments? If i upset you don't stress, never forget that god aint finished with me yet.0 -

No, you cannot "add" points from two different accounts unless they are all registered at the same address.
Easiest way would be to get extra key fobs/clubcards for your account and ask them to use it when shopping instead of their own.0
