Not sure if this is the right place so i apologise in advance.
We're looking at using our clubcard vouchers for a hotel break but we wanted to check availability before we convert the vouchers. Anyway with Hilton they only offer Dinner, bed and breakfast rates and the Tesco site says it's only valid with bed and breakfast rates. Anyone find that if they call Hilton tdo they actually do a bed and breakfast rate when spending clubcard vouchers...?
hilton do a bed and breakfast rate at all their hotels
the online rate isnt that much different to what you get charged, so just check availability that way, then change vouchers, ring up and book. ok, prices can change from one day to the next, but as long as you are prepared to pay a bit of cash towards it, or change up more than you need, then you should be ok

I was enquiring whether anyone else had any problems that was all and if they had it would have saved me a phonecall....
Thanks Flea72 for your helpful reply. I didn't think they'd changed their policy, just seemed really weird they only had DBB rates on their website when they used to have the Bed and Breakfast rates there too...0 -
Just checked and unfortuantely Hilton have limited rooms for Tesco and there is no availability until middle of November....We're kinda limited in Scotland for Tesco deals as there isn't a lot of hotels here that take part....0

i think most of the chains that are in the scheme, have hotels in scotland, ie barcelo, best western, britannia, the list is just as extensive as in england
where hotels and deals are concerned, you really have to plan ahead, as there is always limited availability

unfortuantely most of them cover the borders and the beginnings of Scotland and don't come past Edinburgh or Glasgow! lol0 -
Hi
My friend wants to buy my clubcard vouchers off me to use for airmiles. (Shes also buying vouchers off quite a few others) I said I wasn't sure if that would work but I gave her the smallest voucher I had to try and shes saying it works? I don't have much understanding of airmiles myself so wondered if anyone can confirm that they will all work? It's just that I have about £70 in vouchers & she won't book the holiday for another few months and I don't wan't her to have trouble booking the holiday when the time comes. Any thoughts?

Best Western have hotels in Inverness, Aberdeen and Fort William, ok not quite John o'groats, but not that south either.
perhaps it would have helped if you said what part of scotland you wanted to visit, but even if looking for rooms in England, you are still limited to only a few per region
Usually when trying to bag a deal, you have to be flexible in where you want to go. by just looking at one hotel, you are unlikely to get the room you want, on the dates you require, at an acceptable price, espec so late in the day. with cc deals its usually easier to work backwards, in that you work around the chosen hotel, rather than the date you want

In England though you get at least one more company than here, Old English Inns or something? Northern Ireland also has another comany don't they?
We already live next door to Inverness and hubbie and I used to live in Aberdeen and he still has most of his meetings there so we kinda wanted something different. We hadn't limited to one hotel, we had tried at least 3 in a 120 mile radius and looked at a minimum of a 4 week period but one is shut because of the weather and the other 2 are booked....We didn't want to go much further than 150 miles because of pertol costs and we've exhusated the hotel options available to us. We're going to change the vouchers anyway to make the most of 4 x before it runs out and then book for next year. You also have to be careful with the offer anyway because as well as the hotel that is shut for the weather, in the terms and conditions they do exclude a number of hotels....0 -
Hi all,
I have a tesco clubcard and shop there approx twice a month. How often should I be getting a clubcard statement and vouchers? Last time I received anything was probably May or June time.
Thanks.0 -
