If you are using a standard Tesco credit card (and not a 'Bonus' card) you'll get 1 finance point for every £4.00 you spend - per transaction. So it is going to be less than divide 2800 by 4 !
thank you for replying
so I work that out to be 700 points - so how much is that in money - am i right in thinking its just £7 ????0 -

You're correct - £7 or up to £28 in deals.
General shopping isn't where you make most of your points - it's the offers, till spits, codes etcNow proud Mumto3 :j0 -
well that settles that then , for £28 a year in deals the hassle with sainsburys is just not worth it0

I ordered some wine from Tesco to take advantage of the 50% off and the 500 clubcard points (using the code XXDLGV on checkout), however, my receipt only shows 90 points having been earned. Does anyone know if the points get added at a later date (like those added if you open one of their savings accounts when the offer's on), or should it have appeared at the time of placing the order?0

I too did this on Friday and my 500 points show up on the receipt.Thank you all who post.0

This is really strange, if it was just the order I did in my name I could understand it as being a one off, but I placed an order in OHs name as well (to get 500 x 2), and exactly same happened, just showed the 90 points on that order too. I definitely entered the code on both, can't understand why it's not showing the 500 points. The only thing that has just occurred to me though, is that I went through TopCashBack, I wonder if that's got anything to do with it?0 -
Hi spoke to someone in after sales at direct about missing points and was told all the points from vouchers ecoupons etc were being put on in batches on the 12th October ready for next statements. I mentioned nothing was written on the website that these points would not go on initially and he said this has been raised as they have had many people ringing about these. Hope this helps some people0

Hi I don't know if anyone can answer this but can you use your points in store - like nectar - straight off of your card? I don't get my vouchers through until November and I'd quite like to use the money I have on there on my next shop in-store!0
