Tesco Clubcard/Vouchers/Points/Deals - Post All Questions Here [merged]

I went to the Llandudno Junction branch of Tesco to double up my vouchers yesterday as this was the last day of the offer. They told me the system was down and I couldn't have my goods with the double up offer. I asked to speak to the manager and she said there was nothing she could do and that all the other branches system's were unable to do the doubling up offer. She said she would ring me later yesterday or today but I am still waiting. I rang the head office number 01992 632222 and the man I spoke to is going to ring me back but he said they had no plans to extend the offer at the moment and it was at the discretion of the local store wheter they wantd to honour the offer for me. I am not happy about this at all as they sent me their leaflet which states 5th september and I take that as meaning till close of business that day not 1pm on that day. I don't know what to do next if they refuse. I was wanting to use £40 worth of my vouchers as had picked goods to the value of just under £80. I think this is so bad!

I am surprised the store didn't offer you a money card.
Did they ring anybody for advice e.g. how long the 'system' would be down, or what should they do, as its the last day?

On the other hand, why did you leave it to the last day?

They would have refused the last £10 anyway (as it comes in £10 vouchers) as you have to spend exactly £80 or more to get the vouchers off.

Hi there I have some money off vouchers off a biggish shop come through with the last clubcard statement but they have my name on them and obviously my clubcard number. Am I right in thinking only I can use them?
I need to tighten up and not spend as much so was wondering if I could give them to a friend to use. Would she be able to use my coupons with her clubcard or would it flag up if she used my coupons with hers. I think cos it has my name on it she can't but I know someone on here will know if it is possible. Shame to see them go to waste.

can your friend not use your clubcard. ok they loose the points on their own card, but for the monetary saving i think its a fair swap

Has anyone used the 3 sets of codes for 200 bonus points over August and not had the 400 bonus added? I phoned the helpline and they said it could take up to 28 days for the bonus 400 to be added. Just wondered if anyone else had their points added straight away.

It won't go on straight away, just in case you returned items that would break the T & Cs.
By all means keep an eye on your total, if you've had the 3 x 200 pts then you'll get the extra 400. Clubcard can tell you whether it's there or not - but GHS are the people who put the points on. Though it doesn't matter when you can only use the points in the next vouchers mailing.

Could some please help me on what the fficial position on the maximum amount of clubcard bonus points deals you can use is?

Ideally it would be great to know if I see a deal that says buy 2 of these and get 500 points, can I do something like buy 8 and get 2000 points? (The website suggests I can before I checkout)

... and/or is there a limit of bonus points / deals you can do a year?

Also last question, if I do a deal multiple times with my clubcard, can my other half do the same deal with her clubcard (same postal address)?

We'd probably convert the points into BA miles at some point.

Sorry, I'm sure this has been covered somewhere before, but I couldn't find it. There also appeared to be no mention of a limit in the T&Cs.

Does anyone know if you can use tesco clubcard vouchers for a hotel midweek I was thinking of sunday and monday, also can you add an extra day and use the vouchers
