    I didn't realise that they would only give you half the price for a refund.

    I would have thought the same rules would apply when using your vouchers, because you are just using a different form of payment type. In the end you will have to go with whatever they offer you, unless you want to try and sell off the toy on Ebay or similar.

    I went in to my Tesco's today just to ask (didn't take the toy with me) and the lad pointed to a big sign behind the CS desk saying "refunds will be given at the original face value of your CC tokens" ie half the price of the item. I tried to explain (three times) that I didn't want a refund I was looking to exchange, but both he and another CS lady insisted I could only exchange at half the value too, so in other words they want me to swop a £30 toy for a £15 one!! Sod that. I will be taking it back to a different Tesco and claiming to have misplaced the receipt!!! It's not my son's fault that I bought it with double up vouchers, why should he miss out on a nice toy.

    I think this is wrong of Tesco's; fair enough I can understand why they say it for refunds, but I don't see why they can't exchange like for like when the item was bought in good faith with the vouchers.

    I went into Tesco twice today and made purchases both times. I paid both times by Clubcard Plus. I have just checked my balance, and the first one doesn't seem to have been debited from my account. (perhaps I will try and check the points tomorrow). The second one has gone through okay.

    Should I complain ?:j

    Just checked and it still hasn't gone through my account. My points haven't been updated either for either the first or second purchases. When do they update, or is it delayed because of the holiday?

    I don't care what they claim, it was bought at Tesco so I'll be taking it back to Tesco!! Just waiting for the post-Christmas rush to die down and then I'll be back to them.

    No - Chef & Brewer can only be used there (also offer expires towards end of Feb)

  • I know this isn't to do with Tesco clubcard but i was wondering if any of yous could help me ?

    I ordered a xbox 360 with Halo Reach from Tesco Direct and on my order summary details this is what is says below :

    " Products ordered:

    1. 1 x Halo: Reach - Xbox 360
    2. 1 x Microsoft Xbox 360 4GB Console
    3. 1 x Microsoft Xbox 360 4GB with Halo Reach
    "

    why is 1. & 2. there, shouldnt it only be 3. as thats what i ordered or is it supposed to be like that ?

    can someone please help I'm so confused

    Right, I emailed Tesco Rewards about my query yesterday, and contrary to what the CS assistant told me on Monday, I received the following VERY helpful reply.

    Thank you for your email.

    The terms and conditions of the scheme state that : "Items purchased with a rewards token can only be exchanged, with a receipt, for goods in the same category to the same value."

    Therefore, you are able to exchange your toy for another toy to the doubled up value.

    If the store have any queries, ask them to call us on : 0808 100 0707, so that we can advise them correctly on this matter.
