Does anyone know if there is a cut off on when they have to send their vouchers off to get the old 4x exchange rate?

They need to have the completed Form this week, to ensure you get the 4x rate. Do not delay.

I used £15 worth of vouchers on Saturday night to get the Bella Italia deal. When I pressed confirmation button to order, the site froze on me. When I then tried to use them again, they said all used. I phoned Tesco Clubcard CS on Monday and the guy says he can see they are still processing and I should get an email soon. It looks like from the above, Tesco are saying tough !!!!, you are not getting the deals at 4x value.
    Am I reading this right?

To be on the safe side, fill out the form - via clubcard/deals - clip on 'Important Service Update', a note and send it off with the vouchers ASAP.

  • Can anyone here please advise me?

About three weeks ago I phoned Tesco Clubcard to ask why I hadn't received my Christmas Saver vouchers. Turned out they'd been sent to the wrong address and used. Tesco said they would re-issue them to me in the December statement and that I should receive them by 11th December. In the meantime I managed to report the voucher thief to the police and Tesco may be taking Civil Recovery action against them because there was CCTV evidence against them.

I phoned Clubcard just last week to ensure I was definitely being re-issued my Christmas Saver vouchers and they said yes, I would definitely get them in tome for Christmas. We have four young children and every year we rely on the vouchers to do the bulk of our Christmas food shop (this year we accumulated £186, but because they have been re-issued in December this total went up to £203.50). I've been very much looking forward to receiving them because this should cover al our food and drink over the festive period.

Anyway, I phoned Clubcard today and they said that although some more vouchers have been sent to me they are now invalid because they've rolled them over to January!!!! I asked why, and was told they must have done it by mistake. I asked what they could do to rectify it and I was offered a money card to be sent out to reach me in three weeks!! So I should have them by New Year!! I told them they wouldn't be much use to me then as we need them for Christmas. I said this just wasn't good enough considering it's their mistake. I asked for them to be sent via Special Delivery only to be told that they don't do that and all they can offer at this stage was the money card in a few weeks. I asked to speak to the manager and I am currently awaiting his/her call. Is there anything I can insist on? I know that legally I probably have no rights because it all remains the property of Tesco blah blah blah, but surely as a gesture of goodwill for all the mistakes they've made with them they would either mail them to me sharpish or at least request that my local Tesco issue me the money card?

I just don't know what I can do next. I don't have £200 hanging around to spend during Christmas week - all my money has been accounted for with bills and presents. I really rely on these vouchers at Christmas time and haven't had a problem up to now.

You would probably get it before 'three weeks' - but they don't want to say one thing and it not happen. 'They' do not issue them, they request them from another department, who check and authorise it. The process is usually quite quick - five days, but made longer because of problems with voucher exchange etc.
    Good luck

  • Can anyone help?

I doubled up some vouchers to buy a kettle from Tesco direct (£5 - £10 for a £19 kettle).

I had the kettle collected by a friend who happened to be out near a particular store that particular week. Got the kettle home and it's faulty. I want to exchange it for another one, but will I be able to with that voucher involved? I don't want to end up paying more. What a faf!

  • Hi everyone, not sure I'm posting in the right place (sorry if I'm not) but I have a question concerning a clubcard bonus coupon. The coupon in question is for 500 extra points if you sign up to Tesco's DVD rental service. The first 14 days are free, then the basic charge is 3.73 after this trial period. It states that this can be cancelled at any time.

My question is this: Can I sign up, collect the 500 points and then cancel the subscription within the 14 day free trial period and not incur any costs?

Well we got our rewards this morning but liked i'd feared they've sent them in large denominations....

Does the change get put back on your clubcard if you can't use all of the money?

You can send back unused vouchers to be put back on your card. If you don't use all of one voucher you just dont get change - for example if you have a £100 voucher for Goldsmiths, but only spend £70 you just lose £30 if you decide to go ahead and use the voucher.

Thought as much....I did debate whether to order in two batches but I thought someone on here said that you got them in smaller denominations...

Well we'll just have to try each hotel and get the best value for the vouchers and the least amount of wasted money...

Yes I always make several orders over a couple of days if I am changing up a fair amount.
