I have been reading through this thread as I have a number of 'Strada/Pizza Express' vouchers that I would like to use on a 'day out' instead. A number of previous replies have said that the vouchers are generic and can be used anywhere that is not 'pay in full' so restaurant vouchers can be used on days out.

I have just looked at the clubcard site and when you click on the link that show you where else the vouchers can be used it is specific to that category i.e. you could use Pizza Express in Strada but it does come up with any days out.

Does anybody have the last word on this as we would like a 'day out' tomorrow!

Is it me or are tesco's offers on extra clubcard points non existant at the moment? Waiting for a big offer to tempt me!!!

Last year we used our Clubcard vouchers for a four night break at a Park Resorts holiday park on the Isle of Wight. It was great and so we exchanged our vouchers for Park Resorts tokens again so that we could return in 2011. We tried to book the same week (last Monday in August) but I was told by Park Resorts that they have no accomodation for Clubcard token holders available at any time during the summer holidays, anywhere! Not just the Isle of Wight. Clubcard will refund my tokens but even so, this is so disappointing . What is the point of them being a 'Clubcard partner' if this is their attitude?

Got an e-mail from Tesco today offering 200 extra points on a £50 shop x three and if you use all three you get an extra 600 points totalling 1000.......what's the catch you might ask ...well they ALL have useby date of 15th Feb 2011 so for a single person that means buying £150 of groceries in just over a month .....I've complained to them before about these sort of offers slanted towards families and they blamed the company they engage to send out the mailings and to be fair to Tesco the last time they did give me something to compensate .

I haven't seen any codes for a free delivery off a £50 shop for months now. I haven't shopped with Tesco for ages and today I got a card from them asking me to go back and shop with them. Now, you'd think they would give me an incentive to shop with them but they didn't include any code or incentive in this card. What a waste and it was sent by DHL mail too. I wonder how many people have stopped shopping with them and if they are on a crusade to get people back?

Sorry this comes so late as I know you were looking to go out last weekend, but for future reference the Clubcard website states that you can use tokens on any reward that is not buy in full.

E.g. click on - say - Cafe Rouge, and there is a section called How This Reward works. It says: Did you know? - These tokens can be used at any restaurant in rewards, or for any rewards that aren’t “buy in full” or “limited”.

I'm sure someone here will know this: Is there any sort of expiry on the rewards vouchers once you've converted your Clubcard vouchers to them? For instance, if I converted now would I have to use them up before a certain time, and if so how long is it generally?

Also how long does it usually take for the converted rewards vouchers to come through?

Once converted you have 6 months to use them, but you can always send them back before the 6 months are up if you haven't used them to be re-credited to your account. This will then give you another 2+ years as you won't get the vouchers again until the next mailing.
Mine generally take less then 5 days to come if ordered on-line (unless it's Christmas )
