Hi all. I applied for a Capital one credit card. I have poor credit so was doubtful and the screen came up saying they'll get back to me. Anyway, 2 days ago I recieved a capital one PIN through the post but nothing else as of yet. Does this mean I may have been accepted?

If you have a PIN from them it's pretty safe to say a card will be following. Unless of course they've started using 4 digit random numbers as a code to mean declined :D:D

Cheers. I'll let you know the details when I know. Is it normal for the PIN to be recieved before any acceptance letter etc?

After applying for a CapitalOne Classic, I got the following.

    Thank you, (Name removed)
Your online application is now complete

    What do I do now?
One of our team will now perform additional checks, which typically take 7 working days. In a small number of cases we may need more information to complete your application - if so, we'll write and let you know.

If your application is successful, we'll be sending you your Classic Card as soon as possible. Your PIN number will be posted to you seperately
