my o/h just got a decline letter from ikano.we dont check her credit reports.they were nice enough to literaly say in their letter that "her experian credit file was perfectly clear".never had a decline worded like that.nice to know though.

I had a decline like that from First Direct a few years ago. It said "your file contains no derogatory information."

normaly they dont want to tell you anything.but you can check your report,bla bla.
i suppose we should check her files realy.dont want to pay for two.i would probably mess it up if i got a free trial

If you get a free trial just stick the date you have to cancel on your calender so you remember.

anyone know how long abbey take on accounts.havent herd from them since application yesterday.not even cofirmation email?

yeah it sounds/is simple but i do all my finacials and hers,under instruction,plus run all accounts,under her insttruction again.plus i do it normaly between 2 and 6 in the morning.
i probably would forget to cancell,then blame her,bless her.

Abbey are woeful and have a tendancy to lose applications or not to contact you once you apply. I would apply in branch if you really want an account with them.

i should have.ive got an instant online ref number.and a number to ring.i phoned them to see if i could drop some id and extra info into the branch,it 2 mins away but they said if they need anything they will email.
ill give them a couple of days.no checks have been done yet
