    Yes. These pre-approved things are just aren't worth the paper they are printed on, IMO.

    They will still need to do an application and do a credit search.

    He is fed up of phoning them, because they keep fobbing him off.

    I think you have a more likely chance of acceptance if they send you this tho. He has cap 1 with no missed or late payments so think he will get accepted, if he wants it. He does have a default from 2 years ago I think
