What was all of your first jobs? (I'm interested).
I've been at my first job now for a month and am really enjoying it. It's a crap wage (£5.30 an hour) and the jobs not exactly the rits, but I'm loving meeting the new people at work, having a laugh and learning new things, along with the money. I work at a cinema. :rotfl:

  • Hi,

i am a long time lurker on these boards but very rarely post, mostly because my questions are normally asked and answered by other people on here before i even need to post.

I have a pretty bad credit history which i have been working on the past couple few months, I have obtained my credit reports from Equifax and Experian and it only occurred to me the other day that loans I had taken out with Provident over the last couple of years are not shown on my files. My credit has been too bad to get loans from Banks or other loan places so Around Oct 06 i took out a £800 loan and paid £1300 back within the year, then when it finished in Oct 07 I got the same loan and paid it back again and that finished Oct 08. I was hoping they would appear on my credit files, even though they are subprime loans surely being able to pay those amounts off with no missed payments would count in my favour, but as they have not been reported to the CRA's it hasn't worked in my favour at all, Is there no way of making them appear or making Provident report these to the agerncies.

I know it's highly unlikely but just wanted to throw it out there for any advice. Great thread by the way.

P.S I know my question is a loan one and not a credit card as the thread is called, but Sub Prime questions tend to get answered a lot more on here.
