    And when I get the highs they can be quite nice. I think I am a better person to be around and I laugh like a maniac - all a bit odd really. But they cost me a lot of money. Last month I spend £800 on a trip to NYC. Had to cancel and only got 20% of my fare back. And I only ordered that BluRay player because I had a bit of a high spell. In fact, you could put 90% of my credit searches down to being high.

    Absolute genius!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    The NYC trip story!!! :rotfl::rotfl:

    It now says:
    Think about our Initial Credit Card if you:

    • Want some time out from paying interest on your credit card
    • Have a good credit history
    • Are 18 or over
    • Have a permanent UK address for 3 months or more
    • Have a regular income of more than £10,000 pa
    • Don't already have a Barclaycard
    • Haven't missed multiple payments on a credit agreement within the last 12 months
    • Don't have a CCJ (County Court Judgement) or IVA (Individual Voluntary Arrangement) and haven't been registered bankrupt
    • Aren't a student (are you a student?)
    so the only poor credit card they do is the Credit Builder which must be applied for in branch

    I see the good credit history bit has also been added. :mad:

    I didn't go because I wouldn't have a clue what to do or where to go when I got there. Also, I don't like going to strange crowded places on my own as I tend to have panic attacks.

    I noticed that recently they have changed the criteria from £3,000 PA to £10,000 PA. Rather frustrating as I had my eye on that card. :mad:

    When i asked them why they had changed the income to £10,000pa they said it was changed nearly a year ago so i sent them the link i applied with that had the £3000 still on it & they claimed it must have been a problem with Google not updating thier links, even though it's still linking to www.barclaycard.co.uk directly.

    Here's the one i applied with -
    http://www.barclaycard.co.uk/landing/initial280b.html?WT.mc_id=1161069044189810-&TC=KFFSI20506
