    Not necessarily. They don't give instant decisions normally.

    did you see my post?

    GO INTO hsbc! forget crappy1 and barclays, they are both rubbish and the pattern here is that they all search equifax thus your issue appears from first glance to be equifax related.

    All the compnaies you mentioned use equifax so to test the system, apply to someone like RBS (Tesco card) or even Bank of Scotland and see how you get on as these search Experian....

    Why not? Nothing to lose. I have a contact at HSBC credit refferals.
