Not good credit rating , over 30 searches on my file and did not notice where they search. But l had no debt at that time.

HFC searched Experian for me in October last year, got rejected but didn't have much history showing then. Now it might be a different story.

I will have to confirm who they credit search before applying. I do not have much history but have 6 well run accounts just a few too many searches....

Yes was looking for a new laptop. Do you not reccomend it then? My current laptop is only 18 months old but am fed up with it....

NO , bought one from Currys last year and bought one 2 months ago from Tesco. Both ok with a good deal too.

Just checked my Equifax, definitely no search on there so unless they have changed it's Experian.
I have 3 old defaults on file, 4-5 years old but now lots of well run accounts so may be different now :j

Why not try Littlewoods then, good choice, reasonable payments and search Equifax. Bit dearer than the big stores but not that much taking into account the payment terms.
