    What message?

He asked you a question about JD williams in the vanquis thread.

To answer it though, JD tend to increase credit limit every month though this is not guaranteed.

they can take a couple of weeks, just hold fire cos they may authorise you...... be patient and wait for loads of calls then you know its vanquis trying to sell you PPI and cash advance!

    No News = Good News

Oh right.. thanks.. will do.. as for no news etc.. Not always true... MBNA didn't even send a decline letter.

    Regards

I know what you mean, but I have been declined twice in the last 6 months and i rang up to be told, I'm kind of immune to being told "your application declined, sorry"

I would ring them, you never know you could be in for a shock.

Well, I'm sort of que sera sera at this point.... and I hate giving some 17yr old spotty oik the privelige of a decline... But that was me last app I'll wait till June or July now when 7 or 8 searches drop off.

Now I do fancy a Jag X type... finance? lol

    Regards

Hi guys, what do credit limits tend to be like from FlyBe? I got accepted today so I am wondering. Surprised they are considered a "sub prime" - their typical APR seems pretty darn good.

No probs. My limit started at £100 and has gone up £100 each month to it's current level of £500

However, my girlfriend who lives with me got a simply be account at the same time as I got my JD and she has not had a single limit increase.

We also both have an additional account with fashion world at £100 which are also yet to see an increase

They aren't sub-prime they are a mainstream card, but people who have not to bad credit seem to have a chance obtaining a card.

Your limit could be anything from £500 - £5000, it depends. Lets us know how you get on.

Thanks! So £500 is the minimum? That's a promising start :D
