almost as polite as Hbos...... weird considering you're a HSBC customer but then again isn't 1st classed as the hardest to get accepted for?

I bet this means that your HSBC behaviour score added no extra weight to your application...?

Just an update, havn't heard from Vanquis yet some 5 dyas later ho hum... Keep getting pestered by text by various loan companies though and I didnt b4 applied with them looks like they sell your details on dosn't it?

Give them a ring on 08007816314 option 3. Ask them what's happening regarding your application.

Have you checked your Experian file to see if they have done a search?

Hi Sutton, yep.. they searched last Sat. As for ringing them....? I hate being declined in person lol

they can take a couple of weeks, just hold fire cos they may authorise you...... be patient and wait for loads of calls then you know its vanquis trying to sell you PPI and cash advance!

I know what you mean, but I have been declined twice in the last 6 months and i rang up to be told, I'm kind of immune to being told "your application declined, sorry"

I would ring them, you never know you could be in for a shock.

yes i rang vanquis to be accepted its a lovely shock when you always get told to throw your hook
