I have just logged into my JD Williams account and they have increased my limit again to £700 , that's the largest increase so far £200 increase.

To be honest i don't really need it that high. Things must be getting a little better if they are increasing it by such a large limit.

When/if it increases next month I'm going to ring them and ask them not to increase it anymore. I want a credit card and I don't want to put them off by having large unused credit.

My Parents about 4 years ago had a Co-op cashminder account and they didn't have great credit. They did like the account but found not having a branch local difficult, they swapped to the Halifax and they love it there.

We do have a branch which is dead easy to get to, so looks like we'll be paying them a visit on Saturday - any ideas on documents required etc?

You don't need to go into a branch to apply you could do it over the phone.

    Hi everyone.

Some members on this forum have claimed they have accepted for a classic VISA card but they received a platinum mastercard type.

Has Capital One changed their cards recently?

    Does anyone know?

According to their website it is still Visa for sub-prime and Mastercard for Platinum
