Ah I see they are offering.....either the balance transfer at 0% OR the purchases at 0%......I thought it was both...told you I'm a novice at all this:rolleyes:
No they are offering both. Its just that payments go towards balance transfers before purchases

NEVER SPEND ON A BALANCE TRANSFER CARD!

    sorry to shout

    :D

when you pay the card back money will go to the 0% BT first and when that is paid off then the purchases will be paid

See Martins posts regarding spending on BT cards.

Use my letter found below: Worked for me..... Have you actually been refused, if so why? Mine said due to credit score and mentioned that it was nothing to do with my credit report (strangely enough!)

Bank of ireland appeal details are here: #2326 & the actual letter I wrote is here: #2327

The main reason for refusing for credit score. I cannot remember if they said it was nothing to do with my credit report (I threw the letter out :o). I have used your letter as a template but added and deleted things to make it more personal to me. I will post it tomorrow.

Of course, my letter is a template to help people get through - dont use the same layout etc whatever you do cos the U/W team is small and they will soon see the same style of letter dropping through and start to refuse them all

I'd change lots around and make it more personal......

If it is just ccredit score and you write good letter, i.e. prove you are stable, then you should win appeal and get a good limit. Did you apply for the gold or standard?
