Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

    hey theeffect

i work for aqua and it is just a security check they have to make as the card is sub prime, alot of advisors do actually say that you should phone the halifax as most halifax banks do accept them, unfortunatly the communication between the banks and call centre is not the best so new banking advisors may not be aware of the process. the best thing to do if you ring and get annoyed is just ask to speak to a manager they have to give you a 4 hour call back if you escalate the call.

hope this helps and dont give up on aqua just yet!

    thanks

    Jamie

Thanks for this information. If they have asked for ID, does this mean I've got a good chance of getting accepted, or does it make no difference and can still be turned down?

    Thanks

    Good evening everyone!

I have just been reading "what do you think" theard. This silver rocket troll is so argumentative isn't he.

When did this CCA loophole start it's the first i've heard about it. I have heard Statute Barred debts but nothing to do with CCA's.

Is it basically people request a CCA on an agreement they have and if the financial institutions doesn't have a copy of it they don't have to pay the debt back. Is that right?!!!!

    How is that possible?

    I find it quite bizarre!
  • Happy birthday Proliant, and fairmom try not to be down, it'll be for the best in the end, I'm sure of that.

My BMI card arrived today :j £1500 credit limit, had to ring them up to activate it and they tried to flog me the payment protection and "free" access to Experian for a year - at £59.99.. not sure how that equates to free, but anyway?

Just got to spend £250 now in the next 90 days to get a free BMI business flight :T
