Hi Sutton,
Could well be although I thought they couldn't decline for that reason only.. I thought they had to do extra checks which proved that it was a risk of fraud before they could decline for that reason.
However Sygma have said they will not remove the Cifas, however they will do reviews and remove it once they think the threat is no longer viable.
You're right they should do extra checks but it looks like lender jsut say no staight away.0 -
My Aqua PIN number just came through the post. Not quite sure why they sent me a PIN number before the card, but it seas in the letter the card will follow within a few days...0

Bloody hell, you still haven't received your card. How long is it now.
Applied on the 23rd January. Got a credit agreement and returned it... 12 days ago. Have just received the PIN this morning and told the card will follow within a few days.
I'm now going to have to go through all of this again with Vanquis, as they've just accepted me and want ID. :mad:0 -

Probably because my credit report is totally blank with no active accounts on it, so they can't prove who I am or even if I'm a real person... (My guess anyway)0 -

My cheque to pay off my Next account cleared today and I just used my debit card to pay off my Ulster Bank card so at the moment I am debt free!0
