    Brian what i did was request a catalogue and it says we have pre-approved you for £xxx limit thats what i did. went throught the application and it was accepted.

    At the 'pre-approval' stage do they conduct a search or is it during application for account?

    I have just tried it for Littlewoods extra and i have a £390 limit. :D :eek:

    went through the application and they have reduced the limit to £250.

    They do a credit search at the Pre-approved stage as well.
