This week I have decided to attempt to cook at least one new recipe that I have never attempted before.

I keep saying to myself I must do this. One from any of our collections and/or one from any of my books.
Challenging myself though... hm...

I'm going to do Aussie lass's Pumpkin Pasties as they sound delicious and I have loads of frozen pumpkin left over from Halloween that needs to be used up. But I'm going to do them with shortcrust pastry as I'm too tight to go and buy PuffOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

:T i made something new last night - fish cakes. I'll have to keep looking through my cookbooks, although i did see a recipe for lemon chicken, and other half asked if i could make a pork pie for him. I also want to try to make some sausage rolls. So i guess at the rate of 1 per week, that's me sorted until March.0

i always do this. it may not be a recipe from a book. but even if i just change how i cook something. like the other week i made toad in hole. but as i change i put chopped up onions into the batter. otherwise i can feel bogged down if i have to get recipe book out. i like to experiment.0
