Morning all!
Well the kitchen looked like a bomb had gone off in it this morning, not sure what had happened! Kids did the pots after dinner, the only thing that happened out there later was me making everyone cocoa (okay that accounts for one pan) and me and dds making cookies (rule being that mixing bowls have to be washed immediately, so wasn't mess from that!). Still all sorted out now! I've decided it's just that we have too much stuff and it's not organised well enough, so as ds is a master at fitting a pint into a quart pot he will be tasked with sorting the cupboards and surfaces for me over the next week! Pocket money day next weekend, so that should help encourage him!
Anyway, BM is on, wm is prob about to die as I've thrown in the dogs towels and they are disgusting, gathered up dds clothes that they've dropped everywhere this morning ready for a second load, and whizzed round tidying the sitting room and hallway.
Later I shall be finishing the hoovering, sorting out the weekend's clutter that has accumulated in my bedroom (thanks kids!), putting on some more yoghurt, and making pineapple upside down cakes for pud.
Lunch today is leftover curry for me, kids have got marmite rolls, cheese cubes, apple, orange, yoghurt, choc and orange cookies.
Dinner will be pizza, not hm for a change, bought at a bargain bin price in Asda yesterday, so couldn't resist, well could you at 10p?! Pud will be the pineapple upside cakes done in my new tin - I'm so excited about it!
Going to make a cuppa now and read the thread! Hugs to all who need or want one xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -

BTW did anyone watch Dancing on Ice last night? I laughed so much at Todd Carty it was the funniest thing I have seen in a long time:rotfl:
I have to say that it is the first time in over a year that I have laughed and laughed until I was crying. I missed the skate off so I hope he is in next week.
Good morning,
Well the pulling out of the white goods in the utility turned in to a mamoth spring clean of there and the kitchen    Everywhere is sparkling now and I have re-arranged all of the cupboards. Chucked out loads of rubbish that had accumulated and washed and bagged all of the coats etc, that are too small and will drop them off at a charity shop.
Fortunately the mold looks like it's caused by condensation as the plaster under the paint that had peeled was dry. I need to wizz around the house with the hoover - it's all tidy! - and then make some phonecalls and bring my pennies book up to date.
The new board for the boiler has not cured the original problem as the tap light is still flashing like mad and the hot water is cutting out, another phonecall to the boiler man methinks.
Minted lamb chops with roasties and all the trimmings for tea (ahmen! I was in too much of a mess to do it yesterday:rotfl: ) and a salad roll for luch I think.
Happy birthday gracie -
Gentle hugs to all else who need one.

Tired mum - of course you can be little bear's adopted auntie. It is sad, but he doesn't have many relatives. And the people on here are so lovely, and I can't write what I would like to about dear heart's sister in case she reads it.
I feel a little embarrassed, posting that I am low because so many people on here have such hard problems but it is now nearly a week since I last took my antidepressant because the upset stomach that they cause and the upset stomach I get from the penicillin is cumulative, and I can't take both. I am very low. Also dear heart is low, and I am not managing with that very well at the moment.
Also little bear was wandering around his bedroom at 9.30pm! The normal course of events is that he has his night time routine, plays for a little while, gets back into bed and goes to sleep. Last night it was a long time before he stopped. Dear heart had a bath, and when he came downstairs he had to pass little bear's room. Little bear was there at the gate, smiled at his dad, had a little kiss and then happily toddled back into the room when dear heart continued downstairs.
I am hoping he will have a nap now. I may join him. Last night I dreamt that he was in an accident. I don't feel v rested.
Also, hugs to all - especially those in fear of their jobsAnkh Morpork Sunshine Sanctuary for Sick Dragons - don't let my flame go out!0 -
Morning all hope things improve for Hester and Daisychain Im sure there will be some good news around the corner. Happy Birthday to Grace too have a good one.
Well I was hoping for a quiet weekend and it all went awry. Youngest DS has been under the weather since wednesday and on Sat morning he was very pale and complaining of aching legs (he's 7), he also had a rash on his chest. Tried not to worry but whisked him off to the doctor who told me to take him straight to hospital, rang ahead and gave us a letter for the doctor. He had his first ever blood test and was terrified, anyway after spending the entire afternoon there all was well and we were allowed home.:j What a relief I thought we were dealing with the dreaded M word:eek: At the same time all this was going on the phone co were trying to get hold of me as the phone had been off all week due to a storm. All sorted now and DS is on the mend with what they have now decided is a viral infection. Os wise washing on the line and the sun is out lovely. Sausage and mash for tea so hopefully DH will get paid today and I can pay the nice customs men some money tomorrow. Turfy that must have been so scary for you (((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))
Well that's the kitchen done! Not bad as it was such a pigsty. DW is on and so is the WM. Just having a quick coffee and a sitdown before I tackle the washing mountain on the dining room table. I have two boxes in there that must go upstairs and I am not amused with the boys as they have assembled the stunt kite and left it in there. It is huge!! Must text OH and find out if he is cooking tonight or me?0 -
Also, if someone points me in the right direction I promise to post a picture of little bear. Just so you know what he is like when up to mischief!
