Evening all :hello:
Had a really lovely day out with my MSE friend, Pash. Still smiling!
Sistercas I didn’t see Dancing on Ice but my sister sent link to Tod Carty’s hilarious performance http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=R40z-PAjzBA I was just like Smokey, laughing and laughing.
Happy Birthday Gracie
I agree with the view that (as usual) the media seem to be thriving on the doom and gloom, probably making situation worse, certainly making people feel worse.
Hugs and to all who are feeling poorly and to those worried about their jobs. Prayers for MSD and Tristan. Also best wishes for tomorrow to Coldstreamalways.0 -
and another smile.........
When we got home Mr. Roly confessed to a disaster in the shower room this morning. Squeezed his facewash rather too hard and resprayed the window blind  He had cleaned it up but forgot to tell me about it and also that the towel was rather wet.
Just apologised/asked Pash if the towel was wet when she used it this morning - said she thought I had a new line in moisturising towels and that it saved on the handcream.

MSD thinking of Tristan, and you of course.

It's a work day today, so no time for anything much OS other than a quick hoover round. I took home made cakes with me to work today and they disappeared before someone elses shop bought chocolate cake :j
WS you may be better with a photobucket account if you want to post a photo of Little Bear on here. Then you just post the link that they give you on here instead of a picture.
Hester I hope today was better than Friday
Take care all of you0 -
hi there everyone.
Big hugs to everyone facing tough times at the moment. I'm thinking of all of you.
I did see Dancing on Ice last night, but managed to miss the vital moment! Thanks HappyRoly for pasting that link in. Now I know what the kids in my form were chirping about this morning.
Things are calmer on the Dreamyd front - my day was full of the usual organised chaos, including one 15yo cherub who decided that I was too much for him and he lay on the floor in protest at the fact I was asking him to do some work! I ignored him for a while, then got someone from SMT to deal with him. The hardest thing was not to laugh, as all the rest of the class were in stitches.:D
Came home to a very cold moggie, who had decided to stay outside all day, and also a letter from Outpatients, asking me to come for a scan next Friday (resulting from my visit to A&E the other weekend) I wonder what they'll find this time...
I probably won't get online tomorrow, so I really hope that you all have the best day possible.Surviving the ups and downs of life with DH

MSD - best wishes to you and your family, and fingers tightly crossed for better news
Beth Happy holidays - make sure when you use your shampoo you "rinse and repeat" several times!
WBS Little Bear sounds like a perfectly normal toddler to me - and he didn't get that way by having a bad Mum! Pat yourself on the back and cut yourself some slack, as they say!
Happy Birthday, Chinese New year and Australia day to all who are celebrating.
LoopyLinz tell us how you made your cakes and muffins and we may be able to work out why they didn't come out right?
Morwenna We did marmalade last night too - what a great feeling it is seeing the jars sitting there looking all glowing and tasty!
Quite a nice day today - work was OK, busy as always but a good humoured day in the office with a few laughs and jokes. The sun has also shone most of the day which was nice for a change. Makes you feel altogether happier with life I find. Had a quick blitz of the kitchen when I got in, and then the potatoes and swede I was boiling for mash boiled over and have made a mess of the nice clean hob. Oh well, a quick swipe over in a while will sort that out. The rubbish on top of the microwave is all cleared off as well so I am feeling quite virtuous.
We had our Haggis this evening - a day late but we wanted a roast yesterday with my friend being here. Did mashed potato and swede and some peas with it - I cooked double mash too so the other lot will be frozen.
Have a good evening all - I hope those who are feeling poorly or with poorly family members see an improvement soon.🎉 MORTGAGE FREE (First time!) 30/09/2016 🎉 And now we go again…New mortgage taken 01/09/23 🏡
