    What a disappointment!
I always thought this looked fabulous but not now I have 'seen' inside! Oddly shaped rooms.
Off to put the towels in on a really hot wash!
Oh and I have decluttered 3 out of date (and I mean WELL out of date) bags of ground coffee to the compost bin (they were in a cupboard at work) and a pair of size 5 hiking boots (from when DS was a scout with size 5 feet) to my mum as she was about to buy some! So :money:too! I have some of his old size 7s which I use!

Evening ladies just popping in before bed. Life is a bit chaotic here right now so not had much time for flying/posting.

I'm away for the weekend (thanks for the good wishes soappie) so I'll catch up with you all next week, as long as the snow doesn't come down and I don't get stranded as I'm heading east, when I will really need to fly. Have a lovely weekend whatever you are doing.

OMgosh I am sneezing for Britain! A few more of these and I will have a nosebleed!
WHY CAN I NOT BE ILL ON A WORKDAY AND HAVE A DAY OFF
    ***stamps foot***
    s'not fair!

    re the house
I know - there's another one (not on the market) with a circular room and I was thrilled when DS met the daughter of the family that live there and told me that the circular room at the very top of the house with high windows IS a bathroom - you would NEVER get me out.
I was running round shouting 'I knew it' like an idiot! He never grasped why I was happy (because I was right!)

Now circular? never thought I had an inner princess! I just thought it was the glamour of the unusual that attracted me!

    re the boots
That'd be a double gold star because they have been in my shed 'just in case' for years. I was very pleased when I bought him his size 7s as I knew I would be able to use them when he outgrew them. They are my only bit of proper hiking kit! I am, going to buy a silver sheet though and some Kendal Mint Cake - but you can only get white round here!

    OOooh I drive past Mummyof5s house...well her road...ooooh

Every woman has an inner princess... and you've found yours!

I love the idea of a circular bathroom on the top floor. The house next to ours in London had a huge bathroom on the top floor (it was a bedroom in our house), with a claw foot bath, black & white tiled floor and french windows leading out onto a tiny balcony on top of the 1st floor bay... (we had bay windows all the way up to the top). I could have lived in it...

  • Morning all,

Have had a lousy day yesterday  - AF made me feel so ill and I had to work too which actually helped in a strange way but I was a bit distracted - So when I got home from work about 5pm, I pottered for about 1/2 hour, had a bath and then collapsed on the sofa not to move again until about 9pm, when I went to bed... not as bad today, so hopefully will get some more done... :D

I will mainly be on here doing paperwork today, really must get this finished, so flying in-between to break up the monotony...

I have also decided that I can't catch up when I'm working...:( I try, but really do waste a lot of time on here then and get nothing done, which then makes me depressed because I've done nothing and I start the whole procrastination thing again...

But I am not leaving, I love it here and really need it, so I will catch up and post when I am off work and doing HHC's ect and only post updates on the days I am away working and maybe catch up on the last couple of pages so I know what's going on (I may give myself a time limit ;) ) - I couldn't have got my house in the shape it's in now without all your help and also on a more personal note, you help get me through the day and I love all your stories and the way everyone helps each other and there's no way I'm giving that up...:D :A So you'll still have to put up with me I'm afraid!

    OK, list for today:
