Have just read this on news page about the weather
http://uk.news.yahoo.com/21/20090129/tuk-uk-faces-coldest-winter-for-13-years-6323e80.htmlMortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -
Tooch - Essentially, washing up liquid is a detergent which interacts with the grease etc. on a plate or bowl or dish and makes it easier to remove. Just use anything like soap or shampoo or clothes washing powder/liquid - a little bit of that and a lot of hot water and Bob's your Uncle (or possibly Aunt depending...).
You don't actually NEED the 'antibacterial action' that washing up liquid manufacturers try to insist you need. Any detergent, lots of hot water, a good rinse and dry after and no-one will get food poisoning...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

AnW's - I'd be interested in seeing the 'after' picture. Presumably you used some sort of concrete/bonding thing to stick them down with?
Gulp I'll have to make it really tidy in there so that I am worthy of my flylady badgethen will get a pic for you. Or I could just take the tidy bit :rotfl::rotfl:
To stick them down I used stuff appropriate to the surface I was laying onto. BIL used the same stuff for both concrete floor and wooden floor to his detriment. Some tiles on the concrete bit (they had an extension and the new bit had a wooden floor) have cracked and had to be replaced. Then I had to choose the colour of the grout, for these tiles I chose a light grey.
Well I got back from work in time to dash in and get the kids from after school club. Chucked beans and sausage down their necks, out to Beavers, which W lovedand then back and chucked them into bed! I called in at my mates as they are closer to Beavers than coming back home otherwise I would have been turning round almost as soon as I got here to go back and pick him up.
W's birthday in the morning so an early start so he can open pressies before school. Will be 7 before I get to the honourary Grandparents house to pick them up And then The Godfather's visit on Sat :T I have booked a table for 10 for lunch, and 'unfortunately' SIL can't be there.... all together now..... shameOfficial Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -

Hi every1,
At risk of sounding a little bit dozy...:o
I jumped into flylady land a few weeks ago, and posted a couple of times, but now I'm back at work after the hols, it's either tidy or post, and although posting is much more fun, the house would look like a pigsty again if I didn't tidy!!
So my question is...do I need to stick a tree on every week, or is there a secret trick that I've missed?
I want to join in!!
Thank you!!
I WILL be organised, and tidy (if it kills me!:D )'By all means let's be open minded, but not so open minded that our brains drop out.'0 -
I've tidied up a bit, done errands, laundry & dishes so am off to bed now. Goodnight!0
