Evening all
AnW's - I'd be interested in seeing the 'after' picture. Presumably you used some sort of concrete/bonding thing to stick them down with?
Rach - hope things were running to time for you
Valli - say happy birthday to Stephanie Louise from me
Mudders - well done on the insurance bonus! And job centre bureaucracy - it's just staggering!
Tooch - well done on the lottery win particularly in finding it again!
Dusty - is it tomorrow you go away for your weekend with the girls? Have fun!
Hugs and home made chicken soup for the poorly ones.
Strange day at work. There were power struggles and I was the pawn being struggled over. Old site v. new site concerning the contents of a document I sent out for review - one which I'd asked my new boss to check for me before I sent it out. (I'm technically, I think, under the command of the old site but hey, I have to do what the boss at the new site says...).
Old site emailed back wanting xyz put in which new site had specifically told me NOT to put in... Hey ho - in the end, new site are sticking up for me and flexing a few muscles. I ~think~ that when my contract that takes me through to the end of the financial year starts that I'm under the control of the new boss - but I'm not sure! I do hope so though! - Oh still need those funding vibes for April onwards.
But, I'm off until Tuesday now which will be nice.
I have decided I really must sort out the unit thing in the hallway. I've not touched it for years and there's all manner of junk in it that can be thrown or ebayed. That will be my mission for this weekend.
But tonight, I'm just going to potter flying wise - see what strikes me as I move about. Going to make fish and chips for dinner. I will also get the venison out the freezer to defrost to do G&B's venison stew tomorrow night.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Toots and sexym - you've done loads:T
Soappie - funding vibes being sent!
DH has just got home early and doesn't have to go back until Tuesday. Apparently, when I was in hopsital he should have been given compassionate days off instead of working from home. His boss feels bad so has given him two compassionate days now. How cool is that! He's just making a stirfry for me now - decluttering half of the fridge!
Whilst i'm waiting i'll do a quick 60 in 60 challenge - any takers?? xx0 -
think you scared them all away Mudbath!!!!!!0

I'm still here, but am too tired to do the 60 in 60 challenge I'm afraid - OH could do with doing one but we're going to watch Home & Away in a minute before having dinner. I expect he'll be on here after dinner so I'll say goodnight now! Fingers crossed that I do have tomorrow off cos I want to collect my parcel (our PO is only open 8-3), and I also miss hanging out with all of the flyladies and gents during the day.
Night all,

I'm going to do another 60 in 60 as DH has taken stripes to running club with the children so I don't need to walk her. I know i'm talking to myself but...on my marks, get set go!! :rotfl: xx0 -
sexymouse, I was going to join in as well but got a serious case of CBA!!!
Will try harder tomorrow, did HHE on the wii fit yesterday and my legs are aching now!!! How unfit am I? I am hoping if I do it on a regular basis, it will become part of my routine and won't hurt so much, we shall see......0 -
