Flying wise the last of the weekend's washing is now ironed and airing. I won't wash tonight, not least because my two have had an INSET day (and how many kids did I see heading up to their school when I was on my way to work this morning? Lots!) so no dirty uniform yet. I will do a soda wash on 90 deg then probably have enough to start the whole cycle again tomorrow night - good job I like laundry.
Washed the pots from tea and done my hated hated hated job...drying them and putting them away:confused::confused:and I didn't cook the tea - my mum did:A and she has DDs cold - first one since - 1994! she and my youngest sis have a very robust immune system - baby sis did not catch mumps, measles, chickenpox and german measles AFAIK - but middle sis and I did! and she was put in with us... Baby sis had a cold when she was 16 and didn't know what it was :rotfl:

  • I know I haven't been a flylady for a few weeks but I know you are all here for me when I get back on track.

But now I need a big favour. My best friend in the world is in hospital right now. His name is Tristan, he is 42 and may not make it due to cancer. He has been fighting it for three years.

I am sorry to be posting a sad post, but I wanted to ask everyone to pray for him or keep him in their thoughts as he is in a really bad way.

I have no right to ask, but I will anyway.

    Thank you all so much

Crikey Mudders - do you have anything left in your house?

Sadly we do! It looks soooooo much tidier now but there's still loads to fling - mainly in DH's study and the attic but fling I will!!!

DH has taken the harness back. I realised we only got Stripes at the end of September and we didn't buy the harness for about two months so it's only two months old. He took DD as a treat as she LOVES pet shops! He's also going to buy a new bed for Stripes so we don't have to keep heaving the one out of her night crate into the living room in the day. You have to turn it at an odd angle and it really hurts my scar so needs must! Wonder if they'll change for harness or if i'll have to do battle!!!

Everyone fed, dogs emptied, isn't it easier to relax when the place looks nice!

I'm going to have a quick scan around to see if there's any obvious clutter. DH asked if we'd been burgled...I think he was joking :rotfl: xx

went with the kids to the library. dd went straight to the table with the crayons, ds was rather good for once and picked 3 books and sat down and 'read' them out loudly (he just made the text up to what he saw in the pictures :D ) - and i ran around to get books for all of us
still, kids fought basically ALL day  - and oh is an absolut grump and the only way he comunicates with the children is via shouting

he's left for work, kids are fed, bathed and dd in bed; ds will follow shortly and then i can stop [strike]shouting[/strike] worrying

i've weighed myself earlier after way too long (9 days) and i've put on 0.5kg  - i kind of suspected it. i haven't been as good as the previous weeks :o - must get back on track!!!!!!!

we've got ourselves another viewer for thursday - so please let them be THE ONE!!!!!

oh and DIVA - lots of positive vibes to tristan and to you too!!!!!! :grouphug:

Mudders - you're doing really, really well :T

    Kitchen sorted.

Have jacket spuds in the oven for dinner. I'll have cold lamb and salad, DS will have cheese, salad and a surprise egg. (That's what he called it last time I did him jacket spuds and added a hard boiled egg to the salad :rotfl:). He doesn't like cold lamb. DiL is working late and doesn't want dinner.

Doing the surprise egg also means that I'm boiling up an extra couple for my sandwiches for work tomorrow.

Diva, I remember just how much your friend means to you and the nights you sat up chatting, adding my strength and love to the cyber world for you both.

    Living room done.

I'm going to go through the bag of stuff I decluttered from the living room, it needs soriting into chairty shop/scrap store/ebay and then I'm going to do the ironing.

I want to watcht the Hugh and Tesco tv program tonight.

New harness tested and fine. Pet shop changed it with no problems. I'm going to have a quick flick and fly and then i'm probably going to have an early night.
