Can I join in please... I am now a single mummy.... ex has now officially moved out!! feeling all sorts of emotions and one of those is panic over the state of the house... I work 4 full days a week and have a 5yr old dd and a 2 yr old dd.
I am going to try my hardest to do levels 1 & 2.... the Ex will be having the girls overnight on Saturdays and all day Sunday, so should be able to play catch up then!!
So my logon name is particularly appropriate at the moment!!!!!

Mmmm, if I could have snuck round without all the neighbours seeing me and telling Mum I would have - they were all window twitching to see when they would return...:rotfl: I can see it now, half of them are over 60 and the other half all young - what a mixture - the driver didn't stand a hope!!!
Well, DS has just got back and apparently there were two of them - two young poles, Mum went out and had a go, told them how inconsiderate they were, they just kept apologising (well one of them, apparently the other couldn't speak English and he was the driver - Mum asked why the passenger was doing all the talking... :rotfl: ), but I think this wound mum up even more - well she had been bottling it up all day as I think she was expecting a row so had sort of built herself up to deal with that and it never happened - DS said it was hysterical, the guys kept saying sorry and shutting their door and mum kept opening it again and having another go... Ohhh, I wish I had been there, I could have done with a good laugh... :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
So all's well that ends well, they have driven off with their tail between their legs and doubt if they will be back there again, as all the neighbours were out warning them not to park opposite their drives either... :rotfl: :rotfl: They were probably desperate to get home and away from all the nutters... :rotfl: Oh, I have tears in my eyes, I know these people so can picture it all in my head... brilliant...
Tia, I don't know the history but sounds like you've had a tough decision to make, glad you've made it and are happy with it coz that's what counts... Best of luck to you and happy, healthy pregnancy vibes on their way... :AOddJob - want to borrow my Mum??? :rotfl: Also, I think they work that out over 21 years and include university and everything, so will be a bit less, but I never spend what they say I should - I shower ours with love not money - plus I can't afford to...:DLBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

:T:TYay, Congratulations Tia:T:T
:T:TGood news on Tabitha as well:T:T
DH had his interview. He thinks it went quite well. We have to wait until Friday to find out if he was successful. So we still need the positive vibes please.
This means so much for us if he gets it. We have literally scrapped through the last 3/4 months by the skin of our teeth. We have managed to keep up to date with all the bills, some howbut the stress and worry of juggling things around has taken it's toll a bit. We could both do with lady luck shinning down for a teeny weeny while.
Haven't flown since I last updated my list at about 2.00pm ish. Might do a bit more later, but maybe not.0 -

I am sorry to moan but I have wound myself up about this, it's so frustrating... My mum has a dropped kerb outside her house and a driveway, where she parks her car, she is a short distance to the town centre and as she lives in a dead end, people often park there and walk in to catch the train to work (no parking costs).
This is normally fine, but some idiot has parked over her drive, completly blocking her in and she hasn't been able to get out all day - he still hasn't returned from 8am this morning - what an ignorant !!!!!!!!!!
She has called the police and there is nothing they can do, as he is only causing an obstruction to her, no-one else (if he was blocking the road they could move him) and the council have said the same - so whats the point of paying for a dropped kerb if it doesn't mean anything??? I want to go round and ram him out of the way, but Mum says no... She won't let me wait round there for him either - I don't want her to be alone when she faces him (aparently he is a young guy, music blaring when he pulled up, she is 67) but the neighbours are all there for her, she is in a good neighbourhood and they all stick together, so she will be fine, plus my DD & DS are there too, so might be better if I'm not there, as I might make matters worse...
Sorry, rant over, I'm just sooooo mad, I was pacing the floor.... She's on her own and relies on her car so much...
