Evening all (can you see me doing the Dixon of Dock Green knee bend?:D)

OK day at work, apart from IT still not sorting out a laptop problem, so I couldn't reference the work my candidate did when I came home.

DS made dinner for us while I was finishing off some work. DH did the clearing up after dinner while I dusted the lounge and dining room - properly! :T

Just had a quick scan through the thread, but not pressing thanks button as it takes too long - suffice to say "Thank you all!"

Congratulations :T, welcome :hello:, good luck wishes etc as appropriate.

Prayers for Diva and friend Tristan.

"The Lord is our refuge and our strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea; though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble with its tumult (Psalm 46:1-3). "

Off to fill in another job application form.

Will you be watching it too?

Sorting going well but note to self in future designate to piles whilst decluttering do not stuff in a large bag to sort later.

Don't know yet. Depends if I feel frivolous (and watch yet another rerun of New Tricks on Cable) or whether I feel able to cope with HFW v. Tesco. One interesting thing - I'm a shareholder of Mr. T  and never got any communications about it yet!

Not sure i'll remember everyone, but here goes...

TAG - good luck vibes for the new job

Diva - my prayers are with you and Tristan

Flower - Thankyou for making me laugh with your story

MudBath - 600 :T Thats amazing. I'm going to stick to 60 a day as I don't have that many hours free in a day, but even moving 60 things I could see the difference!

Pink - I don't know the Dixon reference, any clues?

Froddy - Have a nice warm drink and a bath

Dee and all other newbies - well done for today!!

Flying wise - have added some more to my long list, decluttered the leftover stirfry from last night into my tummy, sorted the coats, and chucked all of the empties in the kitchen and bathroom.
Going to go see how boyfriend is doing, he's still not too well but I think he's hoping to go to college tomorrow. Might be back later to check tomorrow's list but might have to get it in the morning.
    Hugs to all xxx

~~ positive vibes ~~ for Diva and Tristan

Woohoo I have submitted my tax return :T:j although I am still not sure how much I owe as there seems to be no allowance for the payments I have already made . To late to call the tax office now so will wait until tomorrow to find out. Soappie now that you have managed to submit it sounds like you have a similar conundrum to me over how much to pay.

Congrats to Tia, fantastic news :D

Who as asking about Dixon of Dock Green? I police programme from the 60's (I think!), the Plod was PC Dixon who always bent his knees as he said 'Eveni' all'
