Hugs Diva, Tristan is certainly in my thoughts, as are you... :A Is this your friend in the states who you would phone to cheer him up? I know how you have been there for him over the last few months and wondered how he was doing. Hope you are OK hun my thoughts and prayers are with you both x

mOZzy- :A ~~~~good vibes the viewing goes well Thursday and you get a buyer~~~~:A
You are obviously priced right to get so many viewings as at the moment, there are not many looking, so that is a good thing. Hope you don't mind me putting my oar in, but here are a few things that might help:
    • you've obviously de-cluttered because you're on here ;) , but don't overdo it - have enough accessories that is is still homely but not so it looks cluttered, you don't want to show them just a room full of just furniture and nothing else IYKWIM
    • you need it to still feel lived in and warm and friendly so if you can have some soft stuff like cushions, throws, pictures, etc, (beg, steal and borrow of neighbours and friends if you can) stuff with colour but co-ordinating not clashing - touchy feely stuff.
    • a vase of scented flowers is great, as are healthy plants (not dead ones) especially hanging plants like ivy and stuff on bookcases or sideboards as they soften the sharp lines of the furniture - look around your room and if your eye 'flows' from piece to piece then it is fine as your viewer will feel relaxed, if it is up-down-up-down and all over the place with too much too look at your viewer will feel stressed (think about how you feel in one of those houses like your nan might have had that has pattern EVERYWHERE - artexed ceilings, flowered walls, patterned carpets, flowery sofas and curtains, if its all odd patterns and different colours it can give you a headache and will definitly make your viewer want to run out. It needs to feel co-ordinated and calm.
    • The smell of food cooking or a pot of coffee on, old hat but it works as they make people feel at home - and that's the effect you want to achieve - a warm, welcome home feeling so that your viewer can imagine themselves living there, and if you can do that, you've got them.
Hope that makes sense in my rambling way - it's just ideas, not a definite rule but it might help... :D;)
