Just had tea. DH is moving my car off the drive as neighbour can't find her renewal docs or car docs and her tax runs out today so she's putting her car on our drive until she finds them or can sort it out!

Have hoovered throughout downstairs, including the sofa & cushions. I also decided to hoover the blind & curtains in the sitting room (they can't be cleaned as they were home made and I don't have the instructions from the fabric). I'm glad I did, as one pair of full-length curtains are never pulled across fully as the radiator is behind them (I have a blind at the window as well), and I found the dessicated remains of a VERY large spider at the bottom of one

Curtains closed to keep the warm in/cold out. Wrap up warm everyone! Off to take the hoover upstairs and deal with some of the outstanding actions up there... better take some cloths and a bowl up to the study if I'm going to be wiping surfaces in there ;)

That's it. I've had enough. I can't cope anymore. The diamond cutter scares me! I'm going to have to go out tomorrow morning and buy a hand cutting one. Just having a medicinal G&T to recover from the fright I had and to help me stop shaking. Then I'm going to clear up and soak in the bath.

    I may be some time...

soappie - you deserve it - enjoy!!

I forgot to report that I got DH to weigh my breasts last night....they apparently weigh about 5lb, though of course hard to be exact!

One load of washing hung up to dry, another in, dinner (fishfingers, waffles and beans - our Saturday comford dinner) cooking as I speak. Plan for tonight is to chill and watch a film with DH.

Great going with the tiles soappie :T

Heya Michelle been thinking about you all week, glad you're ok even if the little ones are running you ragged, I couldn't cope now with small ones the very thought makes me shudder :D

Just posted a big rant but I'd clamed down after I'd finished typing it, so deleted it, didn't want to spoil the thread with my temper tantrum lol

Off to think happy thoughts whilst slaving over a hot stove - by myself -again!
Bet you can guess what the rant was about? :D

Greenbee I am guessing you are not too keen on spiders :rotfl: As for the studies, it's just part of this science one, starts off with it.
Diva, candle lit here too x

juliejim could your neighbour not do it online, the insurance is found automatically (same as the MOT) and can use the number off the renewal form
    embb ((hugs))

Oh poo, speaking of renewals the DVLA site wouldn't work for me yesterday and I need to do that SORN thingy, best do it now.
One day I might be more organised...........

ChrisShop- brilliant - where is the drawer in relation to the german homework that suddenly appeared?

What a fabulous memory you have soappie. I'd forgotten all about the mysterious geman homework. It was the same room in a different corner.

    I'm still happy :D
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
  • Had a lovely day. Whizzed to the farm shop, bought the lamb, yum! £35 not bad I thought. And got some lovely pork, and veg. Plus, I thought I'd try pheasant.... never done that before. Any suggestions gratefully received.

Diva, virtual candle lit for Tristan and you from me too. I spotted Flower, Greenbee and Sexy there too.

ChristmasShopper That is fantastic news!! Was there something you were supposed to see with the photos??

Flower Decisions I need to make, but won't be easy to act on.
