I miss nap times so much, especially during school holidays!
Soappie I agree with Flower, leave the grout work until tomorrow, or maybe Monday then you won't need to step on it while at work on Tuesday? Nah I know you better than that, you'd not be able to resist doing it asap.
Craftyscholar if you've got the battery in it's charging up all the time, so yes should take it out. Mine has 2 sliders on the back to remove it, just drops out.
greenbee, you could try chestnut oil, spiders aren't keen on that. My DS2 watched a programme about spiders and their dislikes, filled his shed with conkers after he watched it.

I have conkers in baskets on my stairs, fill every crack I can see, have electromagnetic spider repellers upstairs and downstairs, and plan to build myself a house made entirely from chestnut wood when I win the lottery :rotfl:
Keep focussed on your global warming studies... I may need to pick your brains if I apply for one of the jobs I've got my eye on!0 -
Candle is lit Diva
Afternoon all
two loads of washing today, it had a good blow on the line all day, didn't dry completely but it's on the radiators now and shouldn't take long to finish off.
Just pottering otherwise really. DH painted the doorframes inside the bathroom and toilet (which was done last November.....). We are supposed to be getting new internal doors fitted next Saturday. I'll believe it when it happens, although we have now got the doors and fittings.
Going to do some more catching up now while tea is cooking.
The floor looks good soappie (can we have a picture of the dog too, just get a bit of tile in the background and we can call it flying)

Well I've just tried 2 real candles and neither of them would light for more than a second, so have lit a virtual candle for you and Tristan Diva at that website you suggested. Hallo how are you all. Well flying wise just basics done (but that's better than nothing. Seem to have been swomped with visitors this afternoon. Anyway, have taken DD1 and DD2 and DD2 friend to shop to spend pocket money and then went to check out local farm shop. On the whole quite expensive as most meat organic but all local. Half a lamb is £45 though and Quarter pig £55, these seem good value though and am discussing with friend if she would like to go half on one.
Must go now and make dumplins then later batch make potato cakes/scones and make even more flapjacks (they are going down sooooo well)
Soapie - I am sooo impressed with your tiling
tristran still in prayers

How do you climb Mount Everest? One step at a time0 -
Today since I last posted, I've been to the post office to post the faulty freeview box back, been to the market to get a valentine card for OH and some apples, been to the gym and run 5km (in 29minutes) on the crosstrainer then did 8 minutes on the treadmill. I burnt 309 calories on the machines and then did lots of stomach excercises which hopefully burnt a few more. Then I had a jacket potato at the gym as it was nearly 3pm when I finally sat down to eat and I was starving. After that, I went to Mr T and did a food shop and came home and caught up with the site.
Not much flying done unless you count money and calories. Must do better tomorrow.
Rach, I'll post your package tomorrow, so it should arrive some time next week as it's going 2nd class post.
