sammiell, things like Monsoon, Next etc especially new usually sell well. Lesser known brands I would put as a job lot. Worth getting something back in my opinion. You can use the 'Advanced Search' and click on 'Completed Listings' to see what things have sold for in the past.

DD's room now has a shelving unit in it filled with all her games and jigsaws:D This has cleared a shelf in the livingroom on the bookcase so I now have somewhere to put all my boxfiles instead of ontop of the bookcase where I keep knocking stuff off onto my head when I try to get them down :o

Wash load one is in :o but DD is bathed and her bed is made. I've made my bed up as well so some slight progress made today. Now I need to go and get DD sorted for bed.

hmm greenbee, could it be that you somehow don't like spiders?!?!?
Can't think how you got that impression :o

soappie - it was brave of you to try. I've got a manual tile cutter if you can wait for it to be posted (somehow I doubt it  )

SS - pheasant is best pot-roasted or casseroled, as otherwise it can be very dry (all that outdoor living means they don't have much fat on them). If you have some myrtle leaves or juniper berries, those go well. If you're roasting/pot roasting shove and onion or apple up its bum rather than stuffing it, and put carrots, parsnips, potatoes etc round it. I hope you find a way to manage the things you need to do to act on your decisions - you know we're here if you need us.

embb - hope you resolve the reason for your rant

Haven't got much done upstairs... cleaned a couple of shelves in the bathroom (as they weren't that dirty...) and then wrapped presents for the Christening tomorrow (this includes Christmas presents for mum & baby as they were out of the country for Christmas and I haven't seen them since!).

Supper cooking, and think I might watch a DVD before [STRIKE]sorting out my sleep DVD and going to bed[/STRIKE] packing up all the summer clothes that I have left on my bed and putting away the clean underwear :o I'd forgotten about that :rotfl:

  • Thanks GB I'm sure everything will turn out fine in the end. Sorry to be enigmatic!
Pheasant... so would the SC be a good option perhaps? I do have juniper berries, but have had a tendency to overuse them  But maybe onion, apple and juniper in a veg type stock???
