Thanks Valli
Fortunately, the glue I got is fast drying which has helped - meant I could get DS to help with moving the table onto the bit I did first so I could do the rest. (See, blokes do have their uses! :rotfl:)
I doubt I'll have the energy to grout tonight. I do want to try and get the fiddly cutting bit done though with a view to grouting in the morning. I am so glad I have Monday off!
Did reply with a well done earlier, but computer playing up AGAIN!!!   and it got lost in the ether...
Soappie, don't grout until tomorrow - even fast drying needs some time so you're best to leave it so it sets really well..

just looked at your sig....
there are only 20 months between our youngest 2 (hard work aint it)
Tell me about it. Not too bad when DS2 was newborn as DS1 still had a couple of hours kip every afternoon so i got time to do stuff. I remember that fondly. I guess they become independent very quickly though don't they, and if DS2 takes after DS1 i have about 9 months till he only follows daddy when he's around, so i will get some free time then.0 -
Flower when you get a new one, don't use it unless necessary. Laptops should work with the battery out! It stops the charging/recharging killing it. I got my last battery off ebay.
So should I ?

Yes - if you're using the battery, you should be charging it up, then running it all the way down (so using it unplugged). If you run off the mains, take the battery out. They last much longer like this!0 -
Sorry for the delayed report julie DH decided to start hoovering behind the tv (i avoid that area for fear of damaging it!) so I stayed out of the way.
I got a bit more done:
updated sig
sorted scarves, hats, gloves etc. Got rid of a couple of things
sorted the washing & put one load in
put last week's clean sheets away
did the bathroom
changed bathroom towels
wrote up mealplan
activated my replacement cc
for those that are wondering, no haven't had a fall out with DH, just need to burn copies of my wedding dvd for family & bridesmaids! :rotfl:
DH has left the dyson in here (lounge) at my request so I am going to quickly hoover right through the flat whilst it's out.Mum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0 -

I'm not sure how my battery comes out to be honest, it's a dell one that sticks out the back! Still seems to last several hours though and i rarely travel with the lappy so not too worriedMum to gorgeous baby boy born Sept 2010:j0
