  • Hi,

Hope everyone is well & welcome newbies/returners. Since my last post I've done errands, laundry & dishes. My aim for the rest of the day is to do more errands
  • Hi flygang.

Thought i would pop in so you could see i am still alive. It's been a few weeks at least, and i've not even really been lurking. We were away last week, but other than that trying to sort a veggie patch in the garden and dealing with my boys. I don't know where the time goes but certainly not on keeping the house sorted as it is a pit at the moment.

I'm just about doing the washing and cooking, but that is about it. DS2 is suddenly a very mobile and energetic little boy rather than baby, and he is into everything. I spend most of the day following him and moving the debris that DS1 has left in his path before it goes in his mouth, thankfully he is a bum shuffler and not a crawler as it means i don't have to move that quickly.

Extras this week has been managing to empty off the 2 end shelves on the kitchen cupboard, clean, declutter and put back. I also sorted a couple of cheap pressies for throughout the year and hid them quickly. I also have been investigating remortgage options for when ours runs out in March, but there is not a real lot about.

I'm also trying to manage on a strict budget, and trying to lose weight, so lots to try and act on and not as much time on the computer.

Hope you are all ok. I had a quick skim, and can see some of you are not having the best of times. I don't think i will be able to get back into posting daily like before, but i will pop in when i can to see you all.

    Michelle, x

That is such good news CS - where was it? :T:T

I'm sorry it has taken a while to get back to you. I had to go out this afternoon, but I wanted to share my good news before I went.

I think it was way back in October when I noticed that I had lost my grandmother's eternity ring. The following weekend Mr CS and I completely emptied our bedroom in the search for it. When we didn't find it I was convinced that it was lost forever.
Mr CS, howerever, is much more intuitive than I am. He was convinced that it was still in the house somewhere.
Every weekend he has methodically cleared out a drawer or a cupboard with the conviction that it would turn up. And today it did. :D
It was in a drawer full of old photos in the living room.
I am absolutely amazed. There is no way I would have ever put it in that drawer. I have no clue how it got there. But I am soooo happy he has found it. :j
Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me three times and I'll smash your face in. :D
