He has also got up late today, but has to feed the dogs, empty the dishwasher and load it up (he should have done that last night), tidy his bedroom (10 minutes in 'normal' working time, 2 hours in DS land) and clean out his terrapin, the poor thing hasn't been done in a while... so he now has the hump because he wanted to get up when his dad left (5am) and start then as he wanted to go out... my fault of course, even though I called and he couldn't get up...;) Another happy day then...
Bite the bullet flower and be ruthless like I have:D
The awkward little so and so sat and watched me lug his matteress AND bed out of his room, all on my own, whilst he carried on playing on the x box and moaning couldn't I do it when he'd gone out?:mad::mad::mad: Well, red rag to a bull that was..so I've flung and moved and flung and rearranged and flung......you get the picture:D:D:D:D
And I get the last laugh to......cos I've changed his bedding and he ain't getting into bed till he is showered, hair washed and smells less teenagerish:D:D:D Cleansing his body is tantermount to torture to him:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:0 -

You're right TAG, but I did it through last time (not cupboards) although I made him get up and 'help'... (had to laugh about your son - how very dare he...) so am reluctant to do it again - he's just 'tidied' it again so might attack it tomorrow...

Dear ladies,
Just wanted to say how touched I was by the response to my request. I am sat here with tears rolling down my cheeks at how much love and support and strength I can feel going out there into the world for Tristan and his family.
Whether one believes in prayer or positive thought, I just know that whether he pulls through for a little longer or whether he passes, he is going on a blanket of love from people who don't even know him and that touches my heart so much.
Thank you all for lighting your candles today and for just being you. You have no idea how much it means to me.
To those who took the time to message me or mention me in their posts - thank you very much.
Diva.xxTo be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough. If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the little voice at the end of the day that says I will try again tomorrow.0 -
Mmmmm don't seem to have stopped today, so why isn't my list decreasing in size?
Umpteenth load of washing in at the moment. No idea why I put it through cos I can't get the loads I've already done dry:rolleyes: Kitchen has been S & S. Debating on doing the floor......ummmm...............nah, leave it till tomorrow:p
I think I'm just going to potter gently if I feel like it for the remainder of the day. I'll get more done tomorrow i expect if not there's always next week.:D0 -
been back in from work for about an hour had lunch and not done anything else apart from catch up with the thread, but i'm going to be a good girl now and take ds curtains done and get his window washed. then i'll check the rest of the list but don't hold out much hope for some reason i'm feeling very very tired this afternoon
hugs to those who need them

Hellooooo!!!
Christmasshopper that is great, I remember how upset you were, where was it?
sexymouse that's good, I've had mine done by students a few times, sometimes cheaper and sometimes free.
Soappie well done with the tiles!
Summermoon how do you manage a sleep in on Saturdays when you have kids?
Wohoooooooooooo for all the new appliances, I like shiney new appliancesnot had one for ages
I agree, very cold, dog walking was rather chilly this morning
I've not looked at the weekend list (considering the state of my car I might be best avoiding it) but have sorted 3 boxes of last years paperwork. I found a box suitable to store 2008s in so that spurred me on. I've got through loads, recycling bag is filling nicely, have found a large amount of things I should have dealt with ages ago. I also found some clubcard vouchers which need using by end of Feb so pleased I did it, will see what deals I want with those later on. Done millions of 60sAfter 3.30pm already and I need to fit in 3 hours study time in somewhere today as haven't even picked up a book today, can see me doing that this evening when double trouble are in bed.
One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
About another dozen tiles to go and then that's the easy bit done. The rest will require cutting. I'm pooped!I am the leading lady in the movie of my life
