VickyA I am so pleased that you have got your Mum back home again.Give her my very best wishes.I know exactly how she feels but she will get through it and chemo is not as bad as you think its going to be.Just very tiring,so anyone who offers to help grab them with both hands.I read books endlessly after my op.- but then I do anyway,-but I didn't feel quite so guilty about it.Lots of rest is important and lots of tlc goes a long way.My two DD's were terrific and made me smile when I felt a bit weepy. It's quite normal to feel like that because its quite a shock to ones system.
I will remember her in my 'chats to the big guy' that I have every night before I go to sleep. PM me if you feel like a rant, and I will always reply

Ooh - forgot to say earlier, friend who visited this weekend brought with her my christmas present from another friend......it's the Lakeland tagine pot I've been eyeing up for quite literally years! Every time Katharine and I have gone into Lakeland over numerous shopping trips I've said how much I would absolutely love it but can't justify it, so what a fantastic present!

For anyone who doesn't know the one I mean, it's HERE - I now have to start looking for recipes....! :D

Essex take note of the comments and season it as quite a few ppl there have had them crack...
