    Good luck for the interview!
  • Thanks to everyone who left messages about the interview, I think I might have got the job! :j :j :j I say think because the guy wants to see if I like it first before he commits to anything. He said he'd give me a call and put me on for a day on a weekend and see how I get on. But as long as I'm ok with it, it looks like the job's mine! :j Providing all goes well and I get on in the job, you might be seeing a actual DFW date from me soon, the date I want to be debt free by, instead of the date the snowball calculator says I will be by.

I just went to see Marley and Me with my SeeFilmFirst ticket. It's a really great film. I won't give away the ending but I was in tears. It's back to reality now though, jobs to do, people to talk to, computer to throw across the room if it doesn't load my on-line banking soon. :D

    Housework

    [STRIKE]Sort out clean washing.[/STRIKE] Done.
    Do another load, including bedding.
    [strike]Put away clean pots.[/strike] Done.
    [strike]Wash more dirty ones.[/strike] Done.

    General

    [strike]Daily scratch.[/strike] Done.
[strike]Look for weekly spend challenge and join it.
    [/strike] Done.
I'd better get on with some stuff now. Talk again later.
  • Just a quick one for now. I'm not going to be able to get to the uni in time for the Sikhism books today so I'll just concentrate on housework for now. On to the clean washing next, then get another load on. I'll write again soon.

Some of them, yes. :D The problem is, we have four people and one draining board so there's not always room for all of my stuff. That's why I just do a bit at a time.

I've just had a baked potato and I'm still hungry. I'll wait a bit to see if it goes off. If it doesn't, I'll start on dinner. Ok, this time I won't come back on until the clean laundry's put away. :D

Well done on the job! Is Marley and Me worth seeing then? I'm not usually into films like that but my mate wants to go and see it!

Lol the thing about the draining board reminds me of when I was at uni, same issue but it used to become a competition as to who could pile them highest hehe!

Just watching dancing on ice at the minute hope you are habving a good sunday!

  • @ gettingbetter - Don't worry, I could do with a bit of mothering sometimes. (For 'mothering', read 'kick up the butt' :D )

@ Silaqui - Thanks. It's a pretty good film, I think you'd enjoy it. It's not as kiddyfied as it first sounds. In fact, I hate to sound prudish, but I'm really surprised at the kind of language you get in PGs these days. Not the f word or anything like that, but more than I thought you could get away with. Still, it's a good, fun film. I warn you though, take tissues, you'll blub your eyes out at the ending. We just pile pots up on the dirty side. :D We've got a drainer, which cuts down on some of the room but it does mean that unless we want the pots then and there, we usually don't have to dry them. How's DOI going these days? I've never really watched it that often. I don't tend to watch a lot of telly these days. I plan to watch something, forget about it and then see it on BBC iPlayer about a week later. I did watch that Eurovision thing a bit ago though, that was good. I'm glad Jade won, I didn't really warm to the twins. They had huge confidence issues and they were Wednesday fans. :D

I've finally got my clean washing sorted out so I'll tick that off the list in a minute. It's putting things off that's my worst problem, once I do them I realise how easy they really are. :o

As you can see from my siggy, the weekly spend challenge isn't doing great considering I started it today. :o:D £10 of that was topping my phone up though, which won't need doing again for a while. I've also got a £5 Sainsburys gift card from my grandma, which should take care of the week's food shop. I'm counting absolutely everything from the week in that £20 so any food over £5 is included too. And I'll have to cut it down to £10 the week after, even with the money my bf is giving me. Let's hope this job pays cash in hand, eh? :D

I'll do my list for tomorrow on a seperate post, this one's getting a bit long.

I'd better get to bed soon. I'm not really that tired though, I guess I should have got out more today, worn myself out. Anyway, I need to sleep so I'd better at least try.
