I'm back again and not nearly as drunk as I want to be.
I'm feeling a lot more optimistic now then I did earlier. I don't think it will be that difficult to get extra money and if it is, I'll just have to find a way through it. I just need to be positive.
Lists for tomorrow
Uni
Read Sikhism handout and make notes.
Fill in placement forms.
Hand in last lot of library books.
Pay fines on books.
Housework
Wash all pots on sideboard.
[STRIKE]Sort out clean washing from today.[/STRIKE] Done.
Washing hokey cokey another load.
General
[strike]Do daily scratch.[/strike] Done.
I'm going to bed in a minute. Talk to you tomorrow.

In my defence, my new student planner arrived today and I've spent the afternoon updating it. Not much of a defence, eh?
The last library book I'm looking for has disappeared. If I don't find it by Mon, I'll tell the library and let them invoice me for it. My housemate is using the washing machine as well, so I can't get any more washing in today.
I think I may have found the perfect house for Sept. It's got double rooms, in a lovely area, free parking, free internet, 10 mins walk from the bus stop and only £10 a month more than what I'm paying now. :j I should hopefully be viewing on Sat, all being well, and my grandma's agreed to lend me the deposit until the next student loan arrives. So that's good news.
I've got to go to the bus stop in 1/2 hour, then I have a lecture, a Yoga lesson and the Pagan society social. So I should be back about 10:30pm. I'll post again then.

Sorry I didn't come on last night, I got back knackered and just collapsed straight into bed.
I've been to a house viewing today. Wasn't all that impressed with the place, it was a real trek from the bus stop. The guy then whipped me and Amy (Jess went off to uni) around a load of other houses on the way back to the agency office, only to find out that the first one had now gone! But he's given me details of a few others that I might go have a wander to later today. I'm also going to scout out the one for tomorrow, since I'm not entirely sure where it is, the directions they gave are a bit pants.
@ barrys-lass - They only just set up the Pagan society the other month. I'm not actually a Pagan but I'm interested in that kinda stuff and it's good fun, great people there. We usually just met for a drink once a week but they're organising some events soon, which should be fun.
I've just checked my bank account and I've got my uni bursary in. :j So that's the rent paid for this month. And I just won 50p on the daily scratch! Not much, but it helps. Someone's bid 10p on my stamps on Ebay, which leaves me 21p out of pocket after fees at the moment but there's still 9 days left so I'm sure it'll go higher.
Yoga last night was knackering, God knows how I'm going to handle Pilates on Mon. Maybe I should have listening when she said not to do one of the moves if you have back problems. Then again, the doctor said I have back problems because I don't exercise enough so maybe it'll help. The Pagan society social was great, loads of chatting and swapping stories about random stuff. It's starting to become the highlight of my week.
Anyway, I'd better get on with today's list, even though I want to crawl back into bed. Through genuine tiredness though, not feeling down.

Sorry I haven't been posting much lately. As soon as I go to do a evening post, I start feeling tired. It's almost a reflex now.
It's a gorgeous warm, sunny day here in Bath and I've just been to look at the most amazing house ever! I'm meeting the people who live there now on Mon and all being well, we should sign next week! :j It really is incredible, I'm not kidding you.
Anyway, quick post since I've got to rush into town with the cheque for my deposit. So onto the wonderful list.

Oh Jesus! I just found out that my dad opened my credit card bill by mistake!   I'm completely (insert rude word of choice)ed, he's gonna go mad! I'd better ring him now. I'll tell you what happens.
Kayleigh0 -
Well, that was awkward, he hadn't even looked at it! :rotfl: Thankfully, he didn't ask me what the balance actually was, he just accepted that I could pay it off. And I can, eventually. I told him that I'd lied about the balance (basically took a 0 off the end) because I didn't want it getting back to my grandma who has diabetes and blood pressure problems so isn't allowed to be stressed out. That was a tiny white lie, I mostly did it for that reason but I also didn't want him knowing because he's got diabetes too and stress doesn't help him either. Also, I know what he's like. He'll sit me down and make me do a budget while we have a blazing row at the same time and he'll make sure I stick to it. Which might sound great and probably would actually help a lot, but I want to sort this on my own. I'm an adult, I live away from home for 3/4 of the year, I ran up the debt myself and I want to sort it myself. Even if it costs me more in the long run, I'll know how to deal with this things without his help. If I let him tell me what to do, then how do I learn how to deal with things without him helping me?
Sorry about the marathon post. I looked for places to separate it into paragraphs but I couldn't find any. Methinks it might be time to change the address on that c/c though.

I've just found out that my MOT is due next month. Oh joy! I've just left a message on the Morris Minor Owners Club forum asking for any good garages in Bath and I might leave one on the Local Moneysaving section on here too, as I'm looking for a little, one or two man garage with a old bloke who knows those type of cars, which is likely to be cheaper for repairs than a big, commercial garage anyway. I'm not daft enough to think that they won't be any repairs at all so I want somewhere cheap. I know about those council places that just do MOTs and not repairs but the nearest one to me is Bristol. And if they failed it on the brakes (not all that likely but you never know), it's a long walk home.
Anyone who's following this diary may be noticing a pattern in my avoidence of paperwork and tidying my room.I really must get some of those things done, I'm going to be in real trouble if I don't do those self-employment forms. I'll put them as a piority for tomorrow.
Housework

Hi Kayleigh,
I think you need to find your library book too
I understand what you mean about feeling tired as soon as you come to post in the evenings.. I have a similar thing with my son. I love reading and read to him every evening but I always start yawning
It's a good job your Dad didn't read your bill.. maybe you should change the address you get them sent to. I'm glad the house you saw today is a smasher.. I know you were hoping it to be.
Have a good Sunday!

Hi Kayleigh,

I've just rung up and changed the address now. I got a very chirpy woman who I think said her name was Lauren. Either way, very nice as bank people go.
Yes, finding the book would be good.It should come to light as soon as I start tidying my room, hopefully. I really hope it does, to get the library a "new" copy would cost £8 or so and that was the cheapest 2nd hand one I could find.
Also, I haven't a clue what I'm going to do if the car needs repairing. I can put about £200 worth on one c/c if I have to but if it's more than that, I'm in real trouble. I've already borrowed £300 off my grandma to pay my deposit and have now found out that that was from her own money! I only asked for it presuming she could give it me out of the ISA she manages for me but she says that's for next year's insurance. Strange, since according to my dad, I've got to pay for that myself. If I'd known it was her own money, I'd have tried to find another way to get the deposit together, she's only on a state pension and some savings and I know she can't afford to lend me that kind of money without losing out on something herself. I feel really guilty about it now. I'm meant to have borrowed it until April but if I get the job I'm going for, I'll see about sending up some of my wages to pay a bit of it back early.
