Thats great Serena.
I have forgiven her afterall she didn't know so she didn't do it on purpose. Still it did hurt LOL
I realised today that if i really wanted i could pay one of my CC monthly repayments just using the £2's i have saved, money i would normally just shove back in my purse or in a pot to be then mislaid, gave me great motivation to keep going.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. OH was particularly cruel yesterday - delighting in telling me he had been spending his £2 coins! He was muttering something about not wanting to break into a note, so he HAD to spend it!
However he did give me a coin today, so I suppose he is forgiven!0 -
Hi all - I have finally added funds to my £2 club - £4 in total... hooray! But the coins are still 'naked' with no vessel, so I will place them in a jar for now to keep them from tempting us!
I also started doing 'Online Odds & Sods' which is my term for when I am online banking, transferring any 'odds & sods' amounts into my saving - last night as my balance was £422.42 I transferred £2.42 to savings. It doesn't seem much right now but if I do it a couple of times a week, it's something ;o)
That way is quite painless too, whereas sometimes placing £1 or £2 into a pot may be harder, but I'll be doing both in earnest now.
I'm quite proud of myself as in 2 days that's £6.42, with help from OH!

2 more this morning. I love Morrisons, they always give me £2 coins in my change. There is a forgotten, nay almost forbidden word which means more to me than any other. That word is England.
